I think the idea's fine, I don't see what's so WRONG about it. Why anyone's getting ANGRY about a simple idea, I dunno. Maybe the idea is crap, but it's still an idea. Don't rain on his parade. I mean, quite frankly, I wouldn't mind having the NEW Jack, with the sword, in this game. Then again, I doubt his name's still Jack...but keep it that way for old memories' sake. Hey, at least I admit that classic Jack could work...without the watering can or milker.

Though it's unlikely this one will help, I suggest you decide to go elsewhere with your lack of moral ambition and propose to your McDonald's crush. come up with a moveset, I believe then you'll get a better reception to the idea. And uh, welcome to SWF?

with no real points to back it up.

As several people have said, a set is all you need to make the idea sound better.

First off, I appreciate your liking to my material. I assure you it's my own. And it's true, I've wasted the duration of my boredom on Blackadder, who I must admit OWNS as many points as he has raised. Now, I don't want you to get offended by any of these, because you seem like an interestingly nice fellow when you're actually creating a mental establishment of logic with what I've said. I will start it off with:
Lack of moral ambition. Of course it makes sense! Are you stoned, or just naturally literacy-negligent? (Like my choice of heiphenated words? )
I must admit, my post was not at its prime when I begun a sentence with "Who can say," and then strayed off. However, as you will note, that sentence contains two or more dependent clauses, coordinating conjunctions...everything necessary for a grammatically correct sentence.
Hmm, the last time I checked my local McDonald's, which was not exactly recently, they served Orange Crush. Delicious. That, too, made me want a big mac. However, that's not what I was talking about, as you'll see as you review my writing.
Now I'm not sure if you fellas will allow this, but I'd like to help my pal OP out with the moveset, as we're quite an inspired team.

First off, I am not a grammar nazi, but your apparent familiarity with dictionary.com has me piqued. And also, I'm hoping that we can get this thread closed for straying into a flame war, to give the OP time to make an "Official Jack for brawl thread" complete with moveset.

Of course the term "moral ambition" makes literal sense, but given the subject matter (blackAdder's light flaming of OP) it is completely nonsensical. The only moral concept here is whether or not to flame a newbie, which (if you've read no more than two SWF threads) is not much of a question. While I may have done many thing harshly on this thread, I was not one bad guy. You'll find I was speaking what most people would have said anyways. Hell, one guy said I was only "Lightly flamming" and he's right.
There are much worse things that could happen.

The moveset is a must,if you don't want further flamming. Even then, you'll prolly get flamming.

I might get bashed for this however Harvest Moon, to me, is one of the best series out there. In fact, I liked the gamecube harvest moon game better then Melee. I just enjoyed it more. I have been a fan of the series since the SNES to the most recent one. I have played the two spinoff games and they are always intresting (Rune Factory and the futuristic one). I can not wait till the one for the Wii comes out. In fact, because of harvest moon, I have taken up the seemingly boring but truly amazing art of vegetable gardening. I got quite a tan this summer gardening and got some money selling produce at school. I think the HM series is one of the most innovative, intresting, and orginal games out there. All thanks to the Harvest Moon series. And since I feel like being wierd, here is a picture of my hard work:

But....Jack would be a terrible character. I never liked the idea of him being in brawl. Sorry.

Charizard is only s sub character, he woulden't have made it on his own as a character.

But harvest moon is a diffrent ballgame, it's just not sensible, or viable.

Why would Nintendo go to lengths to get character all of 2people seem to want? Why would he do that for a character that no one has thought on till now? Especialy since he would be 3rd party, and that's for characters that we all WANT and CARE for.

So for the B) moves the magic from harvest moon rune factory (Sorry for not know the actual names)
Normal B) Fire
tilt B) Ice
Smash B) Earth
Up B) Teleport
Down B) Whistle for dog? (either controlable for a short time time, or just runs forward.

Normal A) (combo too) Sword
Smash A) Sickle/charge sickel (these items can be held down in ruin factory)
Tilt A) Hoe?
Down (including smash) A) Hammer
Up (including smash) A) Axe

Alright so while not quite complete, some suggestions would be nice, even though flaming is fun


As well, a final smash of calling down a stampede of animals mabye? (Not just chickens -_- if you look at a trailer you can train wild animals too)

I'ld also like more of the magic attacks from the newer games.
Help would be much apreciated, flaming is cool too though

I would say only HM Jack. Who we saw in HM64, BtN, and FoM is Jack. Anyways, here's some stuff:

A - light punch
AA - Light punched followed by another punch
Down A (air) - Slams down with shovel
Up A (air) - Basically reversed
Running A - Slides into character
Down A - 360 sickle sweep
Foward A - Roundhouse kick
Smash Foward A - Swings axe
Smash Down A - Slams a hammer down
Smash Up A - Swings insect net upwards
Grab (attack) - Hits with seed bag

Standard B - Uses fishing pole (much like shieks chain attack)
Foward B -Orders his dog to attack the opponent.
Down B - Uses his hoe to launch a large earthen attack
Up B - Uses his chickens to carry him for a limited amount of time.

Final Smash - Plants tomato, corn, cucumber, and melon seeds around the arena. They then sprout into huge plants knocking all oponents upwards.

Taunt: Yawns and takes a quick nap.
Taunt 2: Becomes dizzy, faints, but returns back to normal.

I by now way support this character. I just felt like writing this out. It was fun.
