Hey I would like to know the position of what your hand should be in when you are attempting to multishine..

So far I got told to hold down and his Y and B with my thumb.. But is there any other way to do it?

Silent, Eggz, DaShizWiz all do it really well,I wanna know how they do it =D

I use X to JC shine with Falco; I really do believe that the X button is underrated just because it's far. Y seems a little awkward for me. I actually never JC shine with Fox because it would mess up Falco's timing though, I was able to do 7 JC Shines with Fox using the X button and only my thumb. A way to practice first with X is Fox's SHDL (short hop double laser). It "may" seem impossible, but once you can do that, everything else just falls into place.

Holding down on the control stick, slide your right thumb from Y to B. Lift your thumb. Slide your right thumb from Y to B. Repeat quickly.

thank you for stating this. i was sick of hearing "change to y". i also think its awkward, and x works for me fine. i still have a little trouble with multishines and fox's SHDL with x but im glad to hear that someone is successful using it.

it all depends on how you jump. if you jump with up then use that if you jump with x then use x. just dont change your playing style for a multishine cuz its not even that important.

I've learned the multi shine in like, a week. It's easy, just use the control stick to go up to down, and get in a rythm (fast paced) and press b when you have it down. You just have to jump, then use your shine before Falco jumps, then shine and back.

As for Fox, I can't move my fingers fast enough yet XD

for falco, use dark meow's technique

dark meow: try placing the tip of ure thumb on the y button and the first joint down from the tip on the b. Just rock the thumb back and forth as fast as u cant.

-or-

just slide ure thumb from jump to b.
I don't know how to be quick enough with the control stick, but for falco it helps keep the rhythm.
