Luigis hardest matchup, followed closely by MK and anyone else is debatable...

I was beat by Seibrik ( FLs best D3 player, placed 3rd in a OOS tourney only by getting beat by Azen and M2K )

And, after gettting ***** in a friendly, he promised not to infinite me.

Even without the infinites, I lost. 2-0, close on battlefield, an I gave up at smashville. I randomed as my counter pick.

Wow...DDD is just unacceptable. Can grab Luigi out of our whole moveset..so gay.

So, I concur and appologize.

Me an Monk (Those two guys that play the Mario Bros Good) got 4th in teams amongst very good teams.

I got...like i belive 17th or somthin, losin to Seibrik (DDD) and Linguini (DK and MK)

Ill post vids on a diff thread, there prob all going to get uploaded in like a week. I got 2 of my singles matches (both were of the losses) and all of our Doubles matches.

Ok, Really, im sorry. I want to win, but this sucks. I have picked up Snake for MK...still not perfect, a work in process. But now i have to pick up some1 for D3...=(, ****it, ****it ****it. That aint that bad, not to many MK an D3 players.....=(

Oh, in a tourney of 60, I placed 3rd...but with Snake.

The TVs lag, an as you all know...lag and Luigi doesnt work....=(, i still ***** in friendlies, but not the same. Oh an tourney rules were stupid (only 1 char the whole time, only battlefield, 6 minutes, 3 stock 1 match SETS!!!, and not even finals were best 2 of 3,...gayy xD )

Without the inf its a pretty even matchup man. Luigi can combo ddd pretty dang well, then down b really stops shield grab spam. Obviously with the infinite its almost unwinnable since a grab means your stock.

Luigi 1 did very well against ColBol, but he had to work so hard and come back. ColBol isnt Seibrik either, hes less gay xD. Grab is just so gay against Luigi.

DDD is mega gay even without the infinite. Hes hes got a 20000 foot long hammer to keep u away and that bair is a painful gimp. even if u do manage to get close u get grabbed..
The only solution ive found is spam fireballs like ur life depended on it.

Approach DDD again? Shield and grab; yay for no shieldstun.
Once more? Sidestep and grab.

Then when you add the infinite, you're looking at a 10-0 DDD autowin.

Well Polmex, at least you tried. I've come close to giving up Luigi against MK, but stuck with it for some illogical reason. I didn't know DDD was that bad, but at least now I have fair warning. Sheesh. I'm sorry you had to play Snake, thats pretty lame, but the matchups are near impossible. This makes me realize how poorly balanced the game really is. Good luck in Fl though, try and stick with Luigi as much as possible, only counterpick when you absolutely have to...

Afterthought: I'm really eager for the vids, hurry up. :D

Actually... I take back on the DDD. But he is still the hardest matchup for Luigi followed by MK then GaW. Luigi DOES still put up a good fight even without the infinite. Although they can tech-chase and what not.. but still.
Mindgames, defensive play, looking for openings is the epic win here...

I've found out once you get DDD in a dthrow, or utilt chain, or a Dair to Nair combo, you get a quick 60% off the bat! The problem is getting him into a combo cause of his homo *** bigass shield, and blasted shieldgrabbing infinite. Which is why Fireballs/defensive/mindgames comes into play.

Note that DDD HAS NO GOOD APPROACHS! His FF Bair CAN be easily shield grabbed espically with timing and spacing.

Gimping him isn't impossible. Another mindgame/defensive play comes handy again. When hes offstage and your near end of the stage, of course they'll try to throw a Fair or inhale there. But note that they waste jumps and with his Fastfalling-ness, he'll be forced to use a 1-2 jumps and then be forced to a upb where it has so much ending lag. (this is where you throw a shoryuken in the *** polmex :] )

I'd promise you Polmex, if I had vids of myself in action, you won't regret it...

also, dont give up on wigi, theres always hope for the green machine

I REFUSE to change characters against anyone. I do not care who I face. I took it to Colbol's DDD. I was one up b away from beating him (one of FL's top DDD players). And MK? Makes no difference to me. Just play my best and play as gay as possible. fire ball spam, stay away from the edge. I just refuse to change characters. And Snake? I can beat snake. I won't change. Once a plumber, always a plumber. I placed 9th at the last tournament only using Luigi. That is who I am sticking with no matter what.

#2 its a very fun video game

#3 the competition is great.

with those being my priorities, i dont find the ddd matchup fun at all. but i dont think any other matchups are unbeatable so i play luigi against everyone, and then i switch against ddd and as of now ive been playing fox. because that is fun.

lol camping the whole match but still inevitably getting grab infinite and losing by 1 stock, is worse than just playing normal and getting 3 stocked imo. not fun at all.

You bring up a few good points there and now that you mention it, I do plan on picking Fox up. he's a lot of fun playing, I have a friend who plays him so hopefully I will pick him up for DDD and MK. But I think that is a great choice simply because Fox is not top tier, just like luigi.

you just better stay wize on your opponents abilities as fox can get chain grabbed by pikachu and falco very badly lol.

Oh I know. I will never not go Luigi against falco or pikachu. I would only go Fox (if I got good enough) against metaknight and maybe DDD. That's it though, I'm a Luigi main through and through.

Luigi = snake counter imo. He has all the tools to get past him. Its matter of patience is all. Preferably I think Luigi can handle anyone, its just a real hassle going all serious and stuff

yeah you know I REALLY like my luigi against any snake i have faced. I can't be certain though until I have faced the top snakes in FL. When I have done that I will let you know.
