Well, I believe nothing can top this. I've always wanted Cloud in Smash, and I'm not even a fan of his game. I haven't supported the thought much, because it seemed so unrealistic. But this is absolutely insane.

Thank you, Sakurai. Cloud might just be my most wanted character of all time, next to Isaac.

I went looking for one to give the people in the thread a nice congratulations and read the raw jubilation, but none popped up. It doesn't look like there was ever a Cloud thread; literally no one saw this coming.


Personally, I am way more excited for the December Smash Direct then Cloud. The only effect Cloud has on me is that the doors are wide open for nearly anyone to be added. *insert Goku joke here.*

Either that or SE wants to promote the upcoming FFVII remake like crazy.

I'm hype over the fact that this came out of completely NOWHERE. The upcoming Smash Direct next month better have answers as to why he's in as to who else is coming with him.
