Doesn't look like there are any connecticut-based Guilty Gear players in the topic, Modest Egoist... I live in Maryland, so it's way too far for me to travel to give other people money to play a game I don't even play particularly well <_< sorry.
Zink... **** you, I lost the game. Also, Jam basically plays as the typical glass cannon sort of character. She takes a lot of damage, and has somewhat short range... but once she gets into range, there's no stopping her. Probably the best Guilty Gear player in the world uses her, KA2, so watch some videos if you want to see Jam played to the absolute top of her metagame.
Tesu's kind of overpowered, I think... he has a weird loop using this move called Badlands, I don't really know how it works because I don't play him, but it's basically just hitting them into the air, then catching them with badlands on the way down, which bounces them off the wall and sets up for another badlands. He's definitely one of the top 3 characters in the game, not that character strength is likely to matter for most of the people in this here topic, sadly v_v.
Ky is definitely pretty easy to learn, I think everyone here mains him pretty much <_< He's a really popular character, and he sort of relies on zoning and pressure game to win his matches (really sucky damage from combos compared to most of the other characters in Acore) Still, he's well-built for that purpose, with tons of FRCs for his projectiles and pressure moves, and a full compliment of 3 force-breaks.
Sol... I don't know how he plays anymore. You used to be able to play him by running around, doing a couple hits into Volcanic Viper for massive damage, and win, but now that's apparently not the case? I dunno, I never cared too much about Sol anyway.
In any case, the game will probably tie you over if you like fighting games, but be warned that it will likely require a lot of practice to get any good at the game at all - I'm still pretty low-tier even just in Maryland, and I've played the game since Slash first came out, with small bouts of practice interspersed in a lot of time of playing Smash. Hopefully you have some friends who will play with you ^_^ It's not a very fun single-player game...
