Guess on number of characters for brawl

Now im wondering if brawl will have an insane number of characters to select from cause i cannot remember but i remember seeing a video with a screen of 50+ characters. Imagine that lol even the Shy guys were selectable. any ideas please let me know.

I heard somewhere that Sakurai himself said there'd only be between 40-50 characters...I'm thinking exactly...47 (just a guess)

I predict x number of characters total. There will be y number of characters on the starting roaster with z number of characters to unlock.

I'm almost positive we're going to have more than one WTF character, seeing as Pokemon Trainer is in, Olimar is almost guarunteed, and an AC character.

With each new entry in the Smash franchise the roster grows by a large amount. I believe that Brawl will have about 40 characters. I can't see the game having anything more than 40 though.

Well if I remember correctly there were 24 characters in Melee, it might have been more around 26 or 28, but I know that it didn't go above 30. I'd like to wish that we'd get somewhere from 50 to 60 characters, but it will probably be more like 35 or 40.

Thank you all for replying to my thread. Well the reason im buying a wii is cause of brawl well that and ive got an addiction to its gameplay. Now think about it if they have 40-50 characters how hard is it for old time fans to stay with there vetren? Im a sheik fan and wellim praying shes still in brawl because i love the Fast and weak combination. When your opponents get to nice low health areas you can beat just about anyone to running over and bam! lol this was really fun cause it irritated my friends until they got better at melee. can't wait for brawl to be online thats gonna be sick just praying its nut like the **** ds and u need friend codes to meet up.

36 is how many chacters that are going to be in brawl and ill tell u why.. if its 40-50 that takes up to much disc space so many people are going to only play like 10 of the characters..
