Grabbing with nana...

whats the most effective way to grab with nana??? i've been trying to catch them after a f or d throw, should i just do those?

(its so when i get bored in friendlies i can freeze glitch people)

The only other relatively effective way to do it under your control that I know of is to stand right up against the opponent, facing them, turn around and grab as soon as you turn. PoPo should turn around and Nana will grab. Never tried to pull it off in a real match before, though. That's all I know...

well... i was thinking more along the lines of actually able to pull them off in a normal tempo game...


But doesnt matter anymore, i started catching them after a forward throw from popo...

roll, make nana run forward and grab, you can even try making nana dash again for a grab after you´ve made it first time (needs practice), I usually make nana just grab when she is near the opponent, and it´s possible to desynch it that way..

dthrow with popo and catch em with nana right after (theres also an infinite with this at the edge) hella hard

I like to grab, then wait for them to struggle out. Popo will be in that breakout lag, then just run forward and grab with Nana.

If you can grab with Popo, you can Freeze Glitch. I did this in a friendly item match once. So funny. I then pummeled Tyde with a Beam Sword and Ray Gun until Nana killed him after a barrel spawned on my head x_x.

Btw most of these ways won't work in a real match, which is what he was looking for. Also, there's no way to control what Nana does after she grabs.

well, i've gotten the hang of it now... if im trying to freeze glitch someone in a match, ill get it by the end eventually... now im trying to do that edge infinite, i got it 3 grabs in a row, and now i cant get 2...

The only time you can control the way Nana throws is that she'll always throw forwards when near the edge. This, the lagged-dash-grab thing Del mentioned, and about 10 other questions that have been the title of threads can be found in either my or Neal's videos. Sorry, but I just can't stand repeat topics. My vid's in my thread, Neal's is everywhere. Take a minute of your time and save many of ours...
