Good Secondary For DK?

I was thinking G&W because he can't get CGED by D3. But at the same time i'm not really feeling him too much.

The other character i was thinking about was Falco, i have a lot of fun playing with him.

Since you asked though, Falco is a solid choice for a secondary against DeDeDe. I use Kirby and Diddy as well as Falco though, so the best advice I could give is go with who you like and feel comfortable playing in the MU.

Meta Knight and Marth are the best secondaries that almost any character can have since both of them have the least amount of bad matchups. There done, official secondaries.

i disagree.
2ndaries are for handling you're worst matchups, not necessarily just having few bad mathups. Thats what tournament-winning mains are for.

IceClimbers is the best 2ndary for DK. hands down. They take down DDD, Falco, and Olimar- DK's worst matchups. its as simple as that.

I personally use King Dedede as my secondary just because I can play him just as well as my DK. The only problem is that DK and King Dedede share a similar counterpick character in Falco. If I have a problem with Falco, I pick Kirby, who I can use decently enough to fight Falco's.

King Dedede, for me, is pretty much just there for people who beat my DK badly with characters that can get chaingrabbed. If I can chaingrab that character and I don't have confidence in beating them with DK, I go King ADedede. I recently did this for two sets in my last tourney with a Lucario and a Mario.

That's the same reason why I even said what I said. That's what my quote implied. Marth and Meta Knight, especially Meta Knight can handle those bad matchups for Donkey Kong anyways.

Peach is a GREAT secondary for DK. She can handle most (if not all) of his bad match-ups, and strangely, their fighting styles really go together well. It's hard to explain unless you've used both for a long time, but maining DK and Peach just... works.

Also keep in mind that, while Falco can handle DDD, he might not do so well with Wario.

But you were probably expecting somebody top tier, so go for that. XD
