Here are a couple sets that Rohins, Bladewise and I did using the new tournament format that I'm pushing. 2 stock matches and best of 5 sets.

Let me know if you enjoy viewing the pace of a 2 stock match over most 3 stock matches... anyways here are the vids.

I watched the first of each group.

I can't really comment about the pace of the match too much because 2 lives just seems unorthodox... the Japanese players play with 2 lives, right? I'm not a _huge_ fan but if it would allow regular tournament matches to be best of 5 I think that would be great, IMO.

Though when there's finals or whatever, would it be Bo5 with 3 lives or 2 lives Bo7?

2 stock, best of 5 sounds like a fantastic idea. More recorded matches, more consistent results (usually tourney matches are really close and if a gimp happens it's game over).

I'd love to use the format in tournaments.
