So I tried using the search function on this topic but found nothing so I'm making a new post. I'm getting a new controller after my current one started to wear and stop functioning after all these years. I'm going to get a new official controller, and I was wondering if anyone had opinions on any of them. Do any of them have different "feels" and other things like durability? Or is it just the colour difference because then I was thinking of getting the white one from Japan because of the longer cord. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

The longer chord is actually a bit annoying, cause it tangles during tournament. The white controller also seems to have less-durable shoulder buttons. I use R over L, and my R is wearing out, and my friend uses L over R and his L is wearing out. Otherwise, the white one is a good controller and definitely easier to find than the others. Make sure you don't buy any other ones off ebay cause usually they'll send you a bootlegged controller that was made to look like an official one. In my experience, black is the best.

SpaceFalcon, I love your sig. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!!!!!!!!!!!! People don't know about that Trailer Park Boys.

But yeah, I've had a silver controller for so many years, half of it is white from gripping it. I replaced my c-stick 2 years ago because I had worn it down to the hard plastic. There are scratch marks all over the bottom of it since I use my controller as a bottle opener (the underside of the regular d-pad ***** for opening bottles of... water...), and I've super glued the rubber back onto the control stick countless times. I'll probably buy a white one soon lol.

Since everyone else just feels like blogging about their controllers, I'll answer your question:
No, the color of the controller you order has no effect on the feel. The only difference in controllers I know of is some of the older ones have control sticks that you can remove and replace. I'm not sure if you can do this with the white ones, though.

buy one on playasia, thats where I get mine
Do they sell them new, or are they bootlegged? I accidentally bought a white bootlegged GCN controller once and still have it rotting in my drawer.
