When I stop and look at it there's a huge group of people that play smash in gwinnett that has never really been organized. If I could get that organized and even start throwing events in gwinnett it'd make for a very active community there.

Augusta seems to have people too. It'd be dope to have like every group of smashers that are 2hrs away all played together/had smashfests and then once a month there's some mutual decided place to have a monthly lol

I live on gwinnett and got started with melee about 6 months ago and I fell in love but my friends don't cut it. I need people to play with. Anyway to figure out who lives close by?

Hey guys, I'm looking for people willing to volunteer their WiiU's as setups to a possible tourney in the near future.

So far the only people I have on the setup list is:

If you are willing to bring your WiiU setup or lend it for tourney use in the late future lol just let me know. I'm still trying to put everything together and figure out how to work this all out but once it's all figured out everything will be moving smoothly.

I bring my WiiU to every tournament (unless it's big). So sure.

The semester is beginning tomorrow at Georgia Southern University.

We'll be running a bi-weekly event called the Hot Seat starting this Monday night at 6pm EST.

Gwinnett Brawl has been pulling decent numbers for Smash 4 regularly for a while now. We were on break over Xmas / New Year's but we're back now and just finished a 45-man Smash 4 tournament tonight. Not sure if everyone here is familiar with the event since we don't really have a presence on Smashboards at the moment.

Not sure if everyone here is familiar with the event since we don't really have a presence on Smashboards at the moment.

Yeah I was there. That's such a huge thing, and more people are asking about the events. I think we can def. see a huge growth. I wanna help with that and get the stream more popular.

Not at GB. We don't really have time to add more games unless we start alternating between "Smash Games" and "Other Fighters" for each event (which I'm not really opposed to, but I don't see it happening).

Try searching Facebook groups for Georgia Smash players in other games. I'm pretty sure they're out there but I'm only familiar with the Smash 4 group.

Next GB is March 7. I haven't made a thread here for it but the Facebook event page is up:

He possesses a very technical and read-based play style that I like to observe and incorporate into my Pikachu, which I'll probably start playing instead of R.O.B. in Project M and Smash 4.

I am going to have to go with our one and only Sith Lord, Westballz. I like how if he gets one hit he keeps the combo going. Whether it's pillars or just a laser confirm. Watching that man play is a thing of freaking beauty.
