my falcon is pretty much **** the only thing keeping my falcon from being completely **** is knowing how to gentleman. The people i play with do it all the time, but suck at explaining things lol so i thought i'd go here.

AA hold Z light shield pops up method. very reliable but your light shield pops up.

timing of AAA or AAZ or AA(A+Z).

AA hold new input (say a dash attack or R) A hard to explain it may just be a timing aid

the timing has to do with a frame window, I don't know it by heart. If you practice it you'll get it.

how to do gentlemen 100%

a a (A+ hold down on control stick till u duck don't let go of A until u duck)

you have to hit them with the first jab (maybe 2nd?)

if u don't hit him with the 1st jab you can still gentlemen u just have to space out the 3 hits equally

Do what smoke2joints stated. If you don't connect with the first jab though, for timing I generally wait for the second jab to be completely done before pressing and holding A for the actual gentleman. I don't know if this way is better, worse, or if it even matters but it seems to be reliable.

my way is the noob way

its very good if you want to do gentlemens but its not so good if you want to do gentlemen--> fast running knee when they miss tech

but i think your way is good to gentleman into another gentleman

try it or ill try it whenever i can...

play someone and tell them to shield, do the gentleman crouch into another gentleman

tell them to try to shield grab after the first gentleman if they get hit omg unstoppable sheild pressure

then if they roll you can get out of the gentleman into a stomp or some bs

idk i see it in my head and it looks like it could work

Here's something I discovered

when you and fox are at low percents and you gentlemen fox at low percents

most foxes will crouch it and down tilt

so what you do is, crouch their down-tilt back using the crouch gentlemen way and then punish really fast with a grab or something. You have just enough time since Fox still has delay for swinging his tail around

i don't think infinite gentlemen can infinitely pressure fox or most characters. Although gentlemen hits their shield really hard allowing for a random shield poke (seems like it) if they block it they can grab if you are too close but they need some decent reaction time

i like doing gentlemen--> n-air --> gentlemen
