Genesis 2 fundraiser tourney?

So I was thinking, and wanted to see if people would actually show up to one of these if I hosted it as the next G-rev.

Basically, the entire singles pot would be donated to the Genesis 2 fund, and doubles would still pay out because:

1) It would give you guys who have a very good chance of placing top 3, at least some cash incentive.
2) It doesn't affect 90% of tourney go-ers
3) Considering we live in socal, I'd assume a ton of us are going to Genesis 2, and that helping make it **** would be something we could all be down for.

This thread is mostly to get the opinion of people who have a legit shot at top 3 every tournament, cuz they're the only ones affected.

That's to cover the pizzas and the expenses of the food/water I bring. If venue fee was the donation, then there probably wouldn't be food, which is fine, but most people seem to like the food.

you shouldn't give up the whole pot

winners should still at least get like something, even if it's just like 15/10/5

and you should use the venue fee, but then there is no food around and people might *****, half the reason your tournies can be ran so fast is no one ever leaves for food, especially since food is so far away. so it kinda goes both ways with your venue fee

so like little/no food and run the tourney "fast", start it at like 1 (if people could show up then) so people can eat before hand, finish by 7-8. if people eat before they come, they can handle waiting 6-7 hours or bring snacks with them. if they leave for food **** them and DQ them and say thank you for the donation

wow, i'm like 5 days late on this
