General Spiderman Games Thread

Most of them sucked (the movie ones, at least, and the kid ones), but every now and then Marvel and Co. would create a pretty good Spiderman game.

Being a die hard fan of Spidey, I loved playing the games when I was a kid.

So that being said I'm getting a PS3 and seeing that some of the modern Spidey games look pretty cool.

The one I'm really looking into is Shattered Dimensions (if any of you have/played, tell me what it's like!!), but Web of Shadows looks cool as well.

So talk about the games, old or new, and what not.

I remember playing a Spider Man platformer back on my PS1 when I was a kid. It was cool, and I heard that Maximum Carnage for the Genesis was pretty good.

Yeah, the older ones were pretty fun, though the ps2 era I believe was bad for them. (not 100% sure)

Shattered Dimensions looks really fun...

Spiderman: Enter Electro for PS1 was pretty fun

I mean, what isn't cool about being able to web sling on the city levels by firing your web and having it attach to what could only have been a very solid sky?

Hmmm

Mega Drive Spiderman was fun, although jeez the bomb time speeds up so much when you're resting at home. The Sandman boss was stupid from what I remember, trying to get him to the darn water hydrant
