I heard about it like an hour and a half after SEGA dropped the info bomb. Glad that the Sonic I know and love will still be there for me!I don't know if this has been posted yet, but it's been confirmed Sonic Boom won't be replacing the "current" Sonic. Sonic Team will still be doing their thing along with Boom.
So steroid-less Knuckles will still exist!
GOTTA GO FAST (SONIC!) HE'S ON THE RUN (SONIC!) HE'S NUMBER 1 (SONIC!) YOU GOTTA LOOK OUT FOR SONIC X!I actually liked that one cartoon series, I think it was on 4kids or something, I don't remember. With Chris and all.
But please, please. Give us SA3 or SH2. Thank you.
YESSSSS, that's the one. It actually wasn't bad at all in my opinion. Until that weird last arc but I'll just ignore that part.GOTTA GO FAST (SONIC!) HE'S ON THE RUN (SONIC!) HE'S NUMBER 1 (SONIC!) YOU GOTTA LOOK OUT FOR SONIC X!
I always hated how the English version cut Live and Learn and Open Your Heart from the series and replaced it with generic music. The Japanese version had those songs playing at the climax of the SA and SA2 arcs but for some odd reason they decided to take it out of the English version.YESSSSS, that's the one. Live and Learn is what made that whole saga! Well, not really, but it definitely helped a lot. That's a shame, I never saw the Japanese version.I always hated how the English version cut Live and Learn and Open Your Heart from the series and replaced it with generic music. Other than that I enjoyed it, at least 11 year old finalark enjoyed it.
What?! I can't agree with that. I went back and rewatched most of Ed, Edd, and Eddy last year and honestly now that I'm older I found it even funnier than I did as a kid.I'm willing to bet Sonic X was horribly mediocre, but I don't want to go back and revisit it because I'd rather just have my good memories of getting up every Saturday morning to watch it as a kid. Last time I revisited a show from my childhood (in this case Ed, Edd and Eddy) I found it borderline unwatchable garbage.
Anyone who says that modern cartoons are just stupid random humor need to take off their nostalgia goggles and take a look back and how nonsensically stupid some of the **** we used to watch was.
I thought it was gonna be longer, but ah well. It was a nice little treat. Boom's apparently heavily based off Adventure 1 and Heroes, according to a recent interview.I did, very fun, yet short. I can't help but feel this DLC is also a bit of preview for how Sonic Boom is going to be. Since the Zelda level is open world like how Boom is said to be.
The one thing that keeps me from watching SATAM is the fact that it's technically unfinished. I don't want to start something that won't be completed.SATAM stays the same for me as an adult, I still love it.
Sonic X not so much.
Hmm... I am unsure if this is good or bad. I would love for them to go back to the Adventure formula, however...I thought it was gonna be longer, but ah well. It was a nice little treat. Boom's apparently heavily based off Adventure 1 and Heroes, according to a recent interview.
I'm being cautious on this one. I was severely disappointed when Lost World released, because I overhyped it to be a return to a cartoony Classic Sonic-like formula. Looking forward to Boom, but not going to expect as much this time.I played the Zelda DLC. It was short, but it was pretty damn good! It made me pretty happy as a Zelda fan! I just wish that Sega would release some Sonic Lost World DLC where Sonic enters into Mario's world...

Let's just see how they handled it in the final product.
Archie's comics pretty much follows what was going to happen in season 3, with some events out of order like meeting Knuckles before endgame happened.I thought it was gonna be longer, but ah well. Lost World wasn't bad in my opinion, but it wasn't as good as Generations (and I am sad that they didn't expand that gameplay style).I'm being cautious on this one. So many comics. So little tiiiiiiime.Archie's comics pretty much follows what was going to happen in season 3, with some events out of order like meeting Knuckles before endgame happened.
Show is still solid but if people want to see it continued, just read the comics. It more or less follows what was going to happen after Endgame.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I loved Lost World. It just wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. I think Sonic Boom might turn out well considering the staff they've got working on the game, and if I end up liking it I might just end up watching the TV show that comes along with it.Lost World wasn't bad in my opinion, but it wasn't as good as Generations (and I am sad that they didn't expand that gameplay style).
I am unsure what I think about Boom at this point... I'm just going to wait for reviews and see what people think about the game.
Definitely. I really enjoyed Heroes.I still have piles upon piles of Sonic comics sitting around in a box somewhere. Seriously, the Archie Comic series was one of my favorite things as a kid. I have no idea if they're still any good, or if they were any good in the first place or if its just nostalgia talking. But damn, good times.
Anyway, I'm actually kinda hoping that they stick to the designs from Boom for all games because damn, those are cool.
EDIT: Also, it's another go at Heroes-style game play, which is exciting because Heroes had some neat ideas but fell short in many, many places.
