best item EVER: the fire rod in LoZ: LA

although non-item item, the Magic Armor in TP is awesome

The fire rod was amazing! It was seriously too good. I mean, shooting fireballs that kill everything is awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the boss for that dungeon, and fought him over and over just to have more use for the fire rod. It was such a beast.

Bumping a good thread.

I know where Ganondorf got his sword in TP, but where do we see his sword in Melee? Wait, I have a lousy memory, did he use this in OoT? If so, did it have any significance like his TP sword?
He used that for the Gamecube \test video from way back.

It was a little movie with a sword fight between Link and Ganondorf

What's so awsome about coin-operated armor?
I always thought of it as a novelty item you can get that helps people defeat certain bosses that may be difficult. Personally, I thought it looked awesome, but I never used it.

I think a new rod/staff would be a great addition. I liked the ice rod, fire rod, and all the canes were helpful in every Zelda game they were in. They could merge all of these, creating a staff that could conjure a powerful attack, or even many different attacks by pressing certain button combinations. It would be almost like elemental spells that would drain certain ammounts of magic, depending on the spell.

They should have something that makes Link invisible, but drains your magic like a mother****er.

Never mind, I found something that does just that in ALttP. It's called the Magic Cape.
