Why does Pokemon get all the love? I recently got done watching Digimon Seasons 1-3(I watched 4 on TV and it sucked) and ****, it was good.

It just gets outdone because people keep comparing it to Pokemon. If you watch Digimon, and don't think of Pokemon, and don't compare it to Pokemon, it's really good. Pretty epic, for what's intended to be a kids' show.

But this isn't a Digimon VS Pokemon thread. I don't want that kind of talk in here.

Just general, do you like it, why not, why so, who's your favorite, why do you hate "X Digimon" etc.

I liked Digimon because I guess I felt like I could take the series more seriously than similar shows like BeyBlade, Bakugan, and any other rather childish anime dubbed on TV at the time when I was a kid. The cast was pretty solid and so was the general plot.

Season 1 was okay. I loved season 2 and 3. I also really enjoyed the first Digimon movie. I guess I didn't find it as lame as the pokemon anime series and that's why I enjoyed watching Digimon alot more than any other show on TV.

I just wish people didn't say it was complete garbage when it wasn't.

Oh God...where their kids were the digidestined? Yeah, that was dumb.

But, to this day, all the main male protagonists have had goggles.

Even the 6th season is no exception.

I watched it anyways, and I'm glad I did;
