Ganon players and myself, I have a question about Ganon. I have been watching a lot of Brawl videos and 80% of them were doubles matches with Ganon. And when saw them Ganon was a monster in them he made character like MK, snake, DDD, and others look like jokes with his off stage play. My question is how can ganon do this good in Doubles. I know he good in them ,but what make his so good in doubles.

My asnwer:

I think it air and power he has to give his pal an easy kill or gimp kill. Like d airing a recovering is like clockwork with him. His air game keep pressure on the bad guys for setup kills.

Any else have something to add to this thread. And no, I am not a noob with Ganon. I really know how to use Ganon and such so no bashing people.

among the figments of your imagination
The other day I played some doubles matches using Ganon, my partner was a Pit. we did very well, better than when I used my main characters here's why:

Pit is very very good as trapping and holding his opponents for a while, which is perfect for Ganon to deliver the knockout-blow. Perfect example: against an opponent, the Pit trapped him with his side-B whirly thing while Ganon finishes it with a warlock punch. basically the philosophy behind Ganon in doubles is "you hold him, I'll punch"

Agreed... also, depending on the level of play of both the ganon AND the opponent(s), avoiding two people or two hits, no matter how slow, is a LOT harder than avoiding one. Ganon seems to do better because (as chaos leader pretty much said) those heavy hits really make a difference once you can get a few of them off

In singles one can give full attention to Ganon's movements. Doubles divide your concentration because you have 2 opponents. And taking your eye off Ganon is not something you want to do.

ganon ha spotential in doubles simply due to having the chance to pull off many of his devastating moves, especially when paired with agressive or stalling foes
