Gamestop Is Total Bull$h!t!!!

Me and my sister were the FIRST ones to sign up for the tournament! AND WE WAITED FOR 4 HOURS LONG! AND WE NEVER GOT TO PLAY. THAT IS TOTAL BULL$H!T! I BETTER GO TO ROUND 2. THEY BETTER MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR ME. Anybody else experience this bull$h!t as well? I'm seriously going to round 2 regardless.

4 hours?! wtf why did you wait that long? you only had to sign in 30 minutes before it started. it shouldn't have been that complicated.

Eh, that's what they said. Each store had different rules. Stores here were taking names up to 48 early that morning. I ended up being #42 on the list just because i dropped by at 2:00PM. then those that came and waited in line up to 64 went in. However, most got there at 8 and waited it out. Any that showed up 30 minutes before was SoL.

There were like 60 people that showed up for the tournament. And what didnt make sense, was this random guy who got the trophy, I didnt see him play in the finals, but yet he got the trophy. It was so rigged. I did come 30 min before. Came at 9:20 and stayed til 1am... and the ****er didnt add me and my sister in, after I asked again, if we were on the list. I never been so mad like this in such a long time. I seriously felt like breaking skulls. But fortunately I walked away and slammed my energy drink to the floor in frustration. It was SO MADDENING!
Then I call up and complain on the phone to make an exception and move me to round 2. It was their fault! Not mine! But yet those ****ers said they can't do anything about it. I seriously want to do something about this and complain to corporate.

I have had something different happen to me. First the I was gonna play at were giving me different start times. Next were that their rules were way different form the official rules at the website (they said it would start with 4 player matches). I called a couple of hours in advanced and they told me that the day before was the last day to sign up. They never told me about that the other times I called them.

umm i got in my tourney and hmm well lets see

First match of the day, the guys joystick was F'd up and making him SD repeadedly. store owner told him he had to leave (becasue they were closing soon) and they staightened the controlers around and we watch matches until its my turn! woot! but for some reason my controler was switched to classic mode when i played i was THE ONLY PERSON up to that point that had to play with the classic controler. and after i lost i left. so basically i was jipped out of my tourney.

You needed to be there at 8:30 beacuse the tournys started at 9:00 and you have to be there an hour early.

my gamestop had the noobiest oweners liek wtf these pple did not know how to do anything and nintedo is soo ghey for the 1min rule all items random stage. ollolol i have the funniest story ill post later

Well thats not the end of it. All of the character matches were random. So say if you wanted to picked Ike for the tournament. you couldnt, it would be a random character, so you would end up with Metaknight instead, or some other random character, you would be lucky though if you actually got the character you wanted to use.
But after complaining about the fact that the guy skipped me and my sister on the list by accident. I said I won't be shopping at gamestop anymore, I'll just buy the games off ebay cause I felt I was treated unfairly, which I was. So fortunately the district manager called me today and let me know that I can go to round 2 along with my sister. So now I appreciate that fact. I'll be going to round 2 this saturday.

I wasnt crying about it. I was really angry at the moment, waiting in line for 4 hours in the cold weather and then find out I will not be playing. But so far Im allowed into round 2. The host did a very horrible job organizing it. I hope round 2 will be alot more organized.
