Gamecube AR doesnt work on wii?

Ever since I updated my wii, for some reason my gamcube's action replay wont work anymore. Are you guys experiencing this, or is it just me??? I need some help!!

Yeah if i am correct the last wii update was supposed to stop you from using action replay.

Oh man, that sucks! I didnt even get to use mine but like a month; Oh well.

yeah, didnt you read the message that popped up before the system updated??? i believe it said 'unauthorized software will no longer work' or something like that...and it tells you to press whatever if you dont want to update (in case you want to use AR and stuff still, pretty much)...you should read the messages.

Well, I just got a letter yesterday from nintendo on my wii telling me about the update, so I went to go update it, but it said I already had it. I remembered seeing on the nintendo website that system update 2 was up a while back, so I went to update my wii when I saw that. I can swear that there was no warning when I did that update, but I guess I should have read the post. Im an idiot But I do see the warning now that I already have the update.

Maybe Sakurai will be nice to the legions of Debug junkies and have some sort of ingame cheat. It's not like people can use it to cheat online or something. from my expirience, it just gives people even more stuff to do as well as some amazingly funny videos.

Exactly it pretty much would only work when you are with friends or just wanna mess around and use giga bowser or ganon with his sword.

Either way i keep my game cube for AR purposes only.

Also, I'm glad i read this thread now lol. I tried my AR a few weeks ago on my Wii and it wasn't working, but i just thought my AR disk was messed up becuase its pretty scratched and has a small crack in it, but it still worked on my gamecube. now i know why it doesn't work on my wii lol
