Poltergust Luigi for sure. The Thunderhand would just be an aesthetic difference while the poltergust would be a pretty big and interesting mechanical change that really represents him from his own series.
Besides, isn't thunder-punching a little too epic for Luigi?

Dang. I might have to say Character you hate with a playstyle that really appeals to me...
Like, if Tingle gets in but he's super fun to play, I'll probably grow to appreciate him over time. If, say, Ridley got in but he was absolute crap then I'd just feel bitter about it.
i.e. I love Ganondorf. I hate him in Brawl. Now, I spend lots of time wishing he was better.

Geno, man! It'd make so many people in the Smash community feel like they haven't wasted their time over the past, like, decade of wishing for him. I wish Nintendo would just buy him... It's not like Square is ever going to use him again.

Besides, while I love my Toon Link, I don't actually like the idea of there being multiple versions of the same character.
And Fawful... is entertaining, but so much of his character is in his dialogue, and playable characters are practically turned into mimes.

@FalKoopa: I think of Fawful's dialogue as being kind of fun in how long and rambling his food-analogies are, and that's harder to slap into playable sounds.

Agreed about clown car... don't know why they'd bring in non-canon Final Smashes when they have plenty of material.
I like his current TP Ganon Final Smash. Fast, powerful, looks good with the four-legged boar form. The OoT Ganon would probably work best as a transformation, and I just don't like those as much.
Oh, and I hate LttP Ganon. Oink oink.
