Nnnngh. Takamaru. I think, in a different world, I would pick Lyn, but there's just so much competition for Fire Emblem and her time has passed. Besides, Takamaru's got tricks up his sleeve... it'd be fun to see a character so focused on Iajutsu (attacking from the sheathe).

I have to go Pittoo here. Not just be because I'm on an Uprising kick, either---Dark Pit had more personality than the others. Additionally, he could have a different set of weapons than Pit, whereas Dark Link could only be a clone of Link. And I don't want Dark Samus---I want Ridley.

Crash Bandicoot. I do love Spyro, but I think Crash would fit better with the game and would be far easier to make.

Spyro. It's an accepted fact that we can't have Ridley because he's too big, so why not have Spyro instead? Spyro is just a small version of Ridley - they're both purple dragons, what more do you want? The perfect compromise.

Duck Hunt Dog, he'd be a cool retro representative representing one of Nintendo's most iconic games. There's much better Mario choices than Waluigi.

Samurai Goroh. Samurai Goroh is a more historic character to the F-Zero franchise than Black Shadow since he appeared in the original game. Goroh also already has Smash history with his cameo appearance in Melee and his Assist Trophy status in Brawl. Lastly Goroh looks like he could be much more interesting and original to play as being a samurai despite his body type, BS screams 'Falcon clone'.

They are both characters from the Dragon Ball series. Both happen to start out as villains and then do a heel face turn.

You have to drop one Wolf or Falco?

I'd drop Wolf for a few reasons. The first being that Falco's been around longer. And the second being that Falco looks more unique than Wolf, when compared to Fox. Given that Falco is a bird and not some kind of canine.
