My brother mains G&W and every time I laser he catches it with Down B. It throws my laser game out the window but a lot of times I can actually just punish him because the lag is so bad after he catches something. I just want to know if punishing him and keep lasering an appropriate strategy against him or are there other ways to approach him? Also, do most G&Ws do this against players with projectiles?

1) You can spam his bucket till its fully charged, and if you expect the bucket, which is really hard to do, dodge/jump. I don't know much bout it, but I don't think it can be reflected, and if you shield it, might be able to break your shield.

2) You can be aggresive, mix up your lasers with IAP, or empy shorthops, laser mindgames.

Spacing with Ftilt and Reflector 2gud.

This matchup is bad.

Spam bair against aerial strings, use lasers only in mid range so if he buckets you can punish.

Use lasers if he's in the air, punish his fair if he uses it then.

game and watch isnt too bad of a match up, a lot easier than marth. his dair = free almost anythign OoS. bucket = mindgames and easy upsmashes for kills. he isnt as fast as marth so we can run away and phantasm. only probs r stay away from the edges cause ull get stuck in a wall bair wakness. and like usual he can gimp easy. just mindgame alot w/ the ;asers. its how i beat G&ws.

I think you can OoS Upsmash GW when he lands his Bairs.
