All those ideas are great, but can they be realised? The second trailer showed us the game was coming 2007, the game is barely 1,5 years in proces while melee took 2,5 years...
Truly? But Melee came out almost 6 years ago...and they had a TON of stuff in that E3 trailer last May. You're telling me they did that in six months??

And if it was 2.5 years for Melee...I dunno...cuz that basically means they started on Melee RIGHT after the 64 version was released (it was less than 3 years between)

yeah and that exactly what they did. Remember, they HAD 2 do it. Because they needed 2 come up with 'next(old)-gen' graphics for the gamecube, besides, they had 2 almost completely re-do the engine. So 2,5 years is the least thing they needed for creating melee. For brawl though, they already got the engine and most of the battlechar-sets, which causes detail-working te be left. Such as better single-player, more chars, wifi-connection, slightly better graphics, other (new)songs.

God, that's brilliant. Two player co-operative Story mode would be even cooler.
I said that a long long time ago. Oh well, but I agree...with myself.

That makes sense. That puts me a little more at ease.

It would be nice if at the end of each Adventure stage (if still developed like SSBM) would have a boss from that game that we'd have to fight.

Nothing wrong with a rival, is there?

Or the bad guys just fight bigger black versions of themselves. The greater evil, so-to-speak.

on that note, who would they decide to have ness fight? (i keep asking ness questions and i dont even play him...) would he fight one of the bosses from the mother games? or would they do the rival thing and have him fight one of his buddies? and now i'm thinking of fire emblem characters and villians. and what about falcon? might they bring in samurai? hmm...

Good point.
An even better point is... who would GaW fight? Or, potentially, Tom Nook?
... I guess there are some cases where a specific boss might simply not work.
Maybe those have to fight Superwireframe or something. Or whoever fits best? Or.. something?

EDIT: Hey, I guess they could just fight miscolored versions of themselves.
Ness' final battle had something similar to that anyway...

i say that the fire emblem characters, or at least if they include Ike, would fight the Black Knight, and Falcon fights Samurai as a sub boss, and for his final he'd fight either The Black Shadow or Blood Falcon

I hav no idea for ness tho

Anyone think they will just make another master hand?
With Brawl being so hyped I think we'll see something more interesting than Master Hand, honestly the master hand was kind of boring. Jump, hit, jump, hit, dodge every now and then was the Master Hand expirence. I see bosses from Nintendo franchises characters coming into the set.

Yeah I agree, I found Master Hand + Crazy Hand difficult though
