Pay more attention to your opponent's counterpick... Yoshi's is much better for Fox than it is for Jiggs, and you went even with his Falco on FD (if you nailed that last bthrow->shine the game would have been yours). After the fluke suicide-induced win on Corneria and the wild card win you had vs sheik, you should have played it safe and gone Fox on Yoshi's instead of letting him set the terms for your jiggs (I think he baited you by picking Yoshi's, apparently he knows how to shine off the top, he tried doing it a couple times)

I picked Jiggs because I'm not fond of Yoshi's for my Fox, it's a small stage and I don't excell on small stages with Fox. I've usually done well with my Jiggs vs space animals (lol cheap kills =X) but man, Rice was murdering me. I did regret not picking Fox though, as I see now it would've been so much better.

Actually, I shoulda went Pikachu.

Wow. Very good finals. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd matches were really close. This the first time I've gotten a chance to see non-FL mid-south in action. Very nice kills on the 4th match chad Lol at Iori's constant taunting

I used only Bowser until Winner's Finals, where I used Bowser/G&W/DK (x2) against Rice.

When the connection becomes totally free, I'll watch the matches and comment and stuff. Until then, Rice is a machine, and Chad's the coolest ever.

After watching the crew battle again, I can safely say all FFers need to learn how to DI jiggs up throw.

Oh my god some people got obliterated by that. I remember Chad and I were sittin on the sidelines havin a lollercaust. D:

I'd assume its common knowledge you should DI a throw, of any kind, by any character. They all have combos that kill easily out of a throw, so it only makes sense to DI SOMEWHERE away from the clear and impending doom.

For all you crazy kids that are wondering, that's just the direction your back is facing when you're grabbed; away from the Jigglypuff. :x

EDIT: Curses; I just realized that that's ten times more viable against Jiggly's D-Throw.

Everyone still needs to learn how to DI.

To DI Puff's upthrow, you have to pick left or right BEFORE Jiggs throws you, otherwise you're going to go straight up. Just had to add my 2 cents
