So, my partner is an incredible D3 player. However, we've never played teams before. I was wanting to generate tactical discussion on this team.

First off I'm very sure he is an "amazing" dedede player.

There isn't really a certain way to play this. If he dthrows just do any smash you desire (BUT YOU HAVE TO TIME IT RIGHT). If you dthrow, you can have the DDD run near you and charge Dsmash to cover all options except get-up attack (which people don't think to do in a scary situation like that).
