Basically, it's about our favorite foods, and the template of how will foods change overtime.

My favorite food is Rice, favorite drink is water/tea.

I believe in the future that human flesh will be considered a delicacy.

I like spicy foods, and disdain that which are sour.

There is an old topic on this, but I think it may be different considering culinary delicacies.

Personally, I enjoy eating spicy foods.

For drinks, I really like tea.

I don't really like soft drinks.

For dessert, I like eating something that is not too sweet.

My favorite dessert would poblably flan.

Human flesh? Really? How far in the future are you thinking this will happen?

Favorite foods: rice, pasta, pizza, burgers, fruit
Drinks: orange juice, water, Dr. Pepper and most soda in general, coffee milk

I like spicy foods as well. I try to stay away from drinking too much tea because it's bad for the prostate, but it's good for you too.

That is strange.

Why do you think that?
Ok, call me crazy but I had an idea with my brother.
Here it goes.

Human flesh is the only type of meat that is not considered a food, mainly because of cultural aspects on morality. Plain and simply, cannibalism is frown upon because so little amount of creatures practice this dietary idea.

However, supposedly if one decided to open a restaurant that specializes in cooking human meat and selling it as a course of meal. This would have several aspect to it.

1. The meat would be donated by those who approve of their bodies being cooked after dying.
2. Since the donors would be few the price of the meat would be incredibly high.
3. The price of the meat would be that of a status symbol, only those wealthy enough could eat this delicacy, therefore growing into a bigger fad with those with money.
4. It would be profitable in terms of economics and status symbol, this would significantly change the world on aspects on morality.

It seems crazy, but with a couple of twists and turns, it very well could happen.

I don't know when this would occur, but I actually might do it when I'm older.

I understand your point.

The are downsides to this though.

The meat of a human could be contaminated.

Some people might consider this unreasonable, unhealthy, and vile.

Also, the cooked meat of a human might not be so tasty.

Well, that's the thing, of course there would be blood testing, and any body that wasn't healthy wouldn't be taken as a donation.

Human meat is not that bad, a little rough and lacks taste, but BBQ sauce would fix that up. Though for some reason there is a certain aspect that makes it good.

You had that discussion with your brother? The furthest we can get is 2 sentences followed by insults.

Either way, I could see it happening, but the people that start the trend won't come out alive.

Maybe cooked meat topped with chocolate or something similar to that.

Chefs do something like that with chicken.

Dude!, You are creeping me out, you make it sound as though you enjoy or even tried human flesh before.

Some people actually do consume other humans which thinking about it gives me the chills.

Yes, Omegakoopa.

This is a strange topic depending on your point of view.

Mazaloth probably has tasted human flesh before.

I am not saying if I did or if I just looked it up. But there really isn't anything wrong with enjoying flesh that comes from the same creature. Some animals do practice cannibalism, as well as other humans. And like I said before, it depends on the cultural upbringing of your life.

I am sorry about disturbing you, but that is my perspective.

defineltly food will become more altered in the future.

there will be genetically altered super stakes, so when you bite into them, you literally die for one minute and then go to heaven. and all restaurants will have on site paramedics to resuscitate the person

and cannibalism, although fun to joke about, i dont think it will catch on.

a few tribes do it/ did it. you know what they got. a disease that spread through the eating of the other persons brain. and alot, alot of them died.

so no, humans as a delicacy. i think the american world would not allow that. legally i think it would be out lawed really quickly.

we see cannibalism as being grotesque. that's why only freaks do it in shows and games (FEAR)

Don't expect this to EVER happen. A tribe of cannibals once developed the disease Kuru from eating human brains. The fact is the human body has things that even cooking can't get rid of. Also, acquiring the flesh will send up so many legal issues. You cannot just eat anyone who donates their body because people die for loads of reasons, the least of which being natural. Personally, I would want to know HOW the person died before I ate them, and I am sure others will too.

Yeah, this idea won't ever, ever happen.

Well, after seeing that website about some identical twins, where one brother's arm was amputated for no reason and put back on the other brother's body, meaning him having 3 arms, one of which is dead, people eating other humans doesn't seem so farfetch'd after all.

It's never going to be a normal thing to do, it's still going to be frowned upon by everyone with a sane mind, but there will be some people doing it.

If you read the discription, the bodies would be carefully regulated so that there would be no viruses, or diseases would have infected the meat.
And if the customer wanted the background of the body, so be it.

Maybe not, but I thought it would be a cool idea. Once again, the part of the discription tells you that it depends on the cuture you originate from.

In the near future, Aliens will invade. They'll see us killing chickens and cows and will get angered as those animals are considered the gods of these Aliens. The angry Aliens would make a plan to raise us (humans) till we become 6 and then eat us. The ones that are already older then the age of 6? They'll have them packed into bags and sent to the grocery stores as "Instant Bake Humans".

That is our future.
