No seriously when I did this I laughed my *** off for like 5 minutes? LOL

Most of you know what the run off up b is right? You run off up b then angle into the stage so you sweet spot it. It's a faster way to edge hog, yeah I'm sure everyone knew that.

Now my knowledge in sheik is rather well poor lol, I know sheik has a pretty good match up again peach but on jungle japes? I wasn't so sure.

Anyway enough jibberish lol

- _______ - <-- thats Jungle japes Lol okay? Did you know you can run off and up b from the main platform

_______ <-- that into the one of the sides? - < that

What use is this? against anyone who camps those sides.

Note I'm not taking credit for this since the run off up b has been know forever >_> and this just a slight variation of that.

Sides anyone with half a brain would have figured this I bet.

Well I guess running reverse needle cancels, but that's hella hard to pull off. I think most people just do jumping reverse needle cancels.

he thinks you guys should like read the opening post. =\

This isn't the run off edge hog.

Jungles Japes heres the stage.

-- ___ -- <--- See it?

Start here ______

run off up B but instead of angling it into the stagehold straight forward to sweet spot one of the sides.

It's a quicker way to get to the two sides if someone is camping like say peach.

I've definitely done this ;) its also possible to up-b from one of the sides onto the edge of the main platform.

You have to run off one of the side platforms and angle it down as you can guess lol.

It does somewhat make it safer to approach the sides possibly so you can shino stall to attack people.

Although its uses against camping opponents it isn't that great. It looks really cool though I'm not too sure of the practical uses that do something worthwhile.

Well if a peach is on one of the sides and is camping with turnips I don't see how she could counter it.

Unless of course she saw it coming and edge hogged but even then.

Well I'll try it out if I'm considered competent. Anyway IMO I see more uses in a doubles match. Sheik can sneak her way onto the edge and have her partner spam something. That would at the very least force someone off the platform.

It also would hurt big characters like DK. Because they take up the entire platform.

I've rarely seen this used effectively. But it does look very cool.

I don't see why edgehogging counters this. The way japes is constructed allows you to have an available edge when you do this. If they're on one of the far platforms and they take the edge you were aiming for then what would stop you from just turning around and taking the middle platform's adjacent edge?
