The reference is from a youngster in Pokemon red/blue. he was either on the route begfore mount moon, or in Mt. Moon itself, I forget.

^_^; Would it help your opinion of me if I said I don't remember his FR/LF name?
I played that game through so many times, I know the location of pretty much every trainer, and I can play it without getting Flash. He stood out more, because I think he was one of the more powerful trainers on the route... plus, that shorts comment made me laugh every time
