2. Only put characters you'd be willing to switch to to allow other players to play as your first choice. For example, if we had someone who chose to play as a Meta Knight, but allowed switching for Link, and a second player came in saying they can only play well as Meta Knight, I communicate with the two and we can have the first person switch for Link and the second can be Meta Knight. If you don't want to give up your character, please don't provide any alternates.
3. If you wish to reserve an alternate character, you can, but be aware that they will not be available until we reach 48 players.

If only, but given my schedule as well as the fact that I've already had this date posted for a few weeks, I don't think it likely. Also, I feel like I'll lose more players than I'll gain changing the date. As long as there's Wii U envy, there'll be people wanting to play their 3DS version. I'm also planning on doing this again if it goes well on the Wii U version (once I get a Wii U). I'll PM you regarding some questions I have about livestreaming.

Probably. I'll be running all matches at once, so it'll be hectic for me (heh).

EDIT: Although, there'll be a separate competition to see who gets third place (provided we reach 64 players and it matters) . . .

I'm hoping to start it by 11:00 AM Pacific/2:00 PM Eastern, so, if we run all matches at the same time and assuming we get 64 players and the average match is 30 minutes, it should end by 5:00 PM Pacific/9:00 PM Eastern. If this is a problem for your schedule, please tell me how I can accommodate.

Im gonna try to get vacations fort that day regardless, but since its such a huge number of entrants, maybe it should be a multiday tournament with set due dates for rounds to end?

I have asked for assistant TO's, but I don't think I'll be splitting up the tournament this time, unless we can reach 64 fast enough. I think I know how I'll do it next time, though.

I won't be, I'll just have to rely on both fighters to tell the truth I guess. I'm not monitoring every match, but I might do for later ones. If you're worried about someone cheating you, record your match(es). But yes, that's probably how our live streamer ADAPTChance will stream the later matches, if he's not a part of them. (Although, I'd probably use Pit or R.O.B to fly off screen quickly.)

Sure, that's fine, but are you sure? There are several people on this thread who would (not literally) kill to play as Robin. If you give him up, you may not be able to get him back.
