Fthrow chaingrab starter

I know Marths like to Fthrow->fthrow at low percents to start up a combo against spacies. M2k does that all the time. However, when I do it, it works on human players but not on lvl 9 comps. Does this mean it's not guaranteed? Or am I just doing it wrong?

It's not guaranteed. Human players can Buffer spotdodge/roll to avoid it. Jab should never work, because if your grabbing you should be CCing it into another grab (JC grab hold shield button spam A while in JC grab animation). Unless you are at a survival DI must percent, or want to CC into something else (unlikely at the % fthrow chains on Falco/Fox).

I'm pretty sure lvl 9s will sometimes do that kind of stuff. If you're practicing on lvl 9s, you really shouldn't

you can beat jabs by spacing your grab. if they buffer a roll you have to wait and follow it.

some people i play try to use jab, and i do fthrow fsmash (they don't fall, don't shield) and start an easy gimp from there.

I love this against peach. F-throw to f-throw to tipper f-smash works if they don't di right from 0%.

i think it works better on falcon or fox, just because you can actually gimp them after. peach just isnt in danger at 25% off the stage.

yeah but getting peach off the stage at any percent is good enough to gimp, u just have to work her down, instead of up.... granted it does take some work but its def possible. once she doesnt have her float its money.
