Dang I hate this guy.

Man, I feel like such a newb! I use all sorts of techniques SHFF, double F-Air, but I can't seem to beat my bro. And the worst this is my bro knowingly refuses to try and become pro. He says "Using AT is for newbs" and all this gay crap. What he does is he'll beat me then refuse to play me and it drives me nuts. I'll never know whose better. If I wanted to I could beat him by spamming with Falco/Pit but that's not my style... Anyways sorry for my little rant.

He'll rack be up to good damage by F-Smashing me U-Smashing me or A combo. He'll F-Smash me off the stage. I'll try to kill him but he spams and camps until I'm at about 50%, then I can finally finish him. He repeats the process.

I can never seem to hit him. I'm I come from the air, he'll U-Smash me, ground F-Smash, or B.

He's also quite a spammer.

The only thing I can seem to do is if I'll lucky enough to catch him F-Throw, and the SH Double-F-Air.

Any other tips?

Just try to get him off the stage then gimp him. Also, counter is your friend. If he's spamming, then he's predictable. This makes countering really easy.

Use aerials since Wolf rules the ground. If you predict a f smash shield it cancel to a d smash.

From what I've learned playing against Wolf, you need to go back to basics while on the stage. Powershield his blaster, slowly approaching him. Shield his Smash attacks, then punish out of shield. When he's off the edge, jump out and fair him over and over until he can't get back to the stage.

Also, it's important to know Wolf's range on all of his attacks, and his recovery. A lot of times, you're best just edgehugging, since his Up B doesn't go that far.

As I have suggested before high pressure play is the key in this match. Stay all over him, don't give him a chance to spam you. Utilize Marth's fair for edgeguarding, if you see it coming shield grab his F-smash.

This might sound ******** but what i find works on my bro's wolf is if you shield a b-air rush or sometimes his d-smash you can punish him with dolphin slash if you react fast enough...or maybe that's just my brother

Moves to use:

Counter - great against the blaster at short range and can potentially knock him back.

Standard A - space yourself with this. i believe wolf's fsmash is a little longer than it. if you find yourself just barely missing shield quickly and move away. Then go back at him.

Dancing Blade - need i say more.

Arials - Use your arials. The back part of your dair will spike wold if he tries to recover IF you can time it right.
