Friend Help

My Wii doesn't seem to like my friend, as it doesn't add him at all.

Its the right Brawl code, he's given it to me 5 times, and I'm sure I don't have him on my friends list already.

Suggestions?

Eh... dammit, I put Wii instead of Brawl in my first post (I meant Brawl)

Here's another thing, when I add him, It shows nothing there, not even "Awaiting Registration". and when I get out of the friends list and go back to it, the name isn't there anymore

me and my friend both added each other but it still says awaiting registration.

ya for some reason it worked the first time with one of my friends and then after that it stays at awaiting registration
