hopefully you did well enough that you don't have to take them again! I studied a bunch when I took it so I wouldn't have to take it a second time. That would have been a pain to do it twice.
Nah, I did real good. Thanks for asking.

2280 total, and 1580 for the reading and math (the old SAT).

Got a letter yesterday saying I've got enough points, so just need the Uni to decide if it wants me.

Here's hoping both Mic's get into Uni next year ;)

Congradulations Mic_128 and Jammer! (though admittedly I have no idea what constitutes a good score in the American system). I had my final exam today and I was very happy with it. Maths was bad but I'm feeling better about how bio went after thinking about it, plus there was an article in the paper about how they were getting tons of complaints that it was too hard which makes me feel even better. Overall they went really well so now I just have to wait until December 17 to see how well thy went :(

Congrats, Mic_128. But I'm confused: How did you become a teacher's assistant without going to University? At least in the US, all states require at least a bachelor's, and many require a master's degree. Is it different down under?

My Sister is a Teacher's Assistant while still being in RCC. Granted she works with the Mentally Handicapped it is still a teacher's Assistant.

I don't think it matters whether you work with mentally disabled people are not. In fact, Special Education and English as a Second Language teachers are, on average, the most highly educated teaching professionals.

My information (see my previous post) may very well be wrong. I'm getting it second-hand from my sister, who got her masters and is going to be an ESL teacher (once she finishes her student teaching time).

I had to do a 6 months Tafe course to get a Certificate 3 in Teachers Assisting, then i could have done the cert 4, but i had done 12 and a half years of school, i wanted a break ;) after the cert 4 we then get into the bachelours and so on stuff.

Hope to hear good news from you soon then Mic. I know you would have done awesome ;)

Holy ****. Good work, dude. Congratulations of the highest order to you. I got...... 49.95 T_T. Wow, do I feel average. I'm gonna go see my careers teacher later to see how I should change my preferences. God, 49.95. How awful.

Through TAFE courses I'll eventually get into my science/education courses at university. Since year 11 I knew it would be like that, anyway, so I'm not shattered or anything, just a little disappointed. I thought I'd get at least a 60 or something, but I guess not. One of my friends got an 81.4 or something and another guy at my school got 94.something. I think this year level at my school did fairly well, just not me in particular -_-.
