Overall, I fear my time attending Brawl tournaments will cease soon, due to my current situation (no it's not financial), you already know what I'm going through, so at this point I'm pushing to reach my potential in this game as soon as I can.

It was intended as a joke. You know I know your reasons for not attending Final Smash 8. I didn't meant that as a link to your personal problems. However dawning us as the "Dead Dawn" was intended as a joke perhaps, but at least we're trying to get better and get more people to attend the smashfests as possible. The only problem me and kovu face is lack of experience with other players due to the fact that Fort Worth is literally known as the valley of the dead players.

Kovu I have people from TCU and the surrounding areas who are interested. So around maybe the end of February or March is when we'll get this idea rolling. I hope your cool with me switching to King Dedede for Doubles and Singles. I have plenty of ideas so we'll win at Doubles more.

Chain Grab Positioning is to be exact.

If we can Chain grab to traps such as ending it to Fsmash, Utilt, mine...etc...I"m sure we'll do better in doubles instead of me using ROB to have your back. At FS8, a team used King DDD and Ike to chain grab me or serious cat to a fully charged Ike Fsmash.....did too much damage and we couldn't really DI most of it to survive.

So if we can take that same simple method to other strategies, we'll learn more about how to become a better team (even though we're pretty good in teams as it is).

Man I'm loving the good vibe of this thread.
It's only a matter of time....with all of the things I have planned :)
So Phase 5 is upon us.....I think we have plenty of practice for doubles.
Right now with the way things are going for me, I like doubles more than singles....but this phase I"ll attend singles anyways just to do it.

Kovu are you going Snake? I'll go King Dedede or R.O.B depending if I have to counterpick against MK or Diddy. We need to go over the Counterpick stages when we have time. Can't play L4D2 all the time even though you know that game is ****** :laugh:

Yo, I'm might be off of work the Saturday of Phase 5, which means I could stay for the whole event! But if you're riding with me, I will have to take Kovu back for work, and then come back or not. I'm teaming with KT for doubles, doing the MM's using Link only so I need to bring a setup for that, and of course, singles. Let's see how this plays out... =) I know Phase 5 will be a turning point for me...and I'll make sure I get PLENTY of sleep, I don't want a repeat of what happened at Phase 4. lol

I couldn't make it it due to last minute issues......I disappointed Jinx -_-
But it's ok, I'm still looking forward to HOBO 22.

ahhhhhhhhh im invading hahahah i am claiming fort worth under the flag of lewisville hehehehe naw seriously though its good to see you guys changed the name New Dawn was just to gay, i mean gayer than semen on a mustache.

Anyone willing, I will be holding a Smashfest tomorrow evening starting at 5-ish. It's on the west side of Fort Worth so if you don't wanna drive, don't come. Also, if you bring a set-up, you're at least 2 flavors of awesome. I'm not sure how many will be coming so everyone RSVP with me first and then when the slackers ask who all is coming, I can actually tell them. My phone is on the Travel Plans Google Doc.

Hey, I saw this, and I guess I'll get my name out there right now. I go to school at Indiana University, but I live right outside Dallas, so I'll be looking for some smashers to keep my game fresh this summer. So I will probably be trying to get out to a few of these Fort Worth area events this summer.

Looking forward to it!

Yes guys I'm back....no need for a revival mission....we're still alive and kicking.
Smashfests will be planned as I wanted to but due to some issues I had a couple of set backs.
No worries, you guys will be informed of any future smashfests in the future involving Fort Worth.
If your willing to show up and be apart of the community, it's all good.
Sorry I couldn't go to Phase 5 and HOBO22....but I plan to go to the future ones.
Serious Cat, let me know of any plans you may want to make for HOBO23. I"ll be sure to chip in.

So yeah ALSM went to Phase 6 and place well with Link, congrats buddy.

Me and Kovu went to Furry Fiesta.....had an awesome f---king time....and dominated the brawl scene. There was one person from Houston who gave us a bit of trouble, but other than that we pretty much won the entire time.

I had a few money matches with some annoying Ike player who just couldn't accept defeat....I gimped him HARD with R.O.B over and over....over, and over...and after losing 60 bucks to me, he said screw it and left. He even left his controller the dimwit...came back, took it and walked off huffing and puffing....

And I'm sitting here......

"If this was Kovu and his snake, he probably would of commited suicide."

And man I never laughed so hard because kovu walked behind me when he just left and asked if I had any money matches lol

I'll be sure to keep everyone informed.
If the serious cat will allow another smashfest to be taken place at his house, I"ll buy the refreshments and let's everyone bring setups so we can have some fun.

Of course when we do this, everyone else is invited as well, our Smashfests are not just pertained to people in the Fort Worth/Euless area. (Euless is like 10 minutes away when going 121 past NorthEast Mall)

Hey there. I'm interested in the Fort Worth Smashfests going on. I'm mainly a Fox character and also use Ike and ROB as my other choices. I also wanna get into the tournament community w/o worrying about traveling hours away, such as to Dallas.
