These aren't neutrals because this is brawl, in which every single stage gives advantages to some characters. I believe the word you are looking for is starters, not neutrals. In particular, the Castle Siege one is essentially FD but you can't go underneath.

No, you can't just arbitrarily claim a stage to be neutral just because you say it is. It has to actually be neutral. It's true, he means "starters" in the sense that they're "not counterpicks", although without any actual playtesting, it's impossible to know whether a stage should be a counterpick or not.

These are not neutral. Maybe JJ. But Deadlands, CS3, and YI without platforms are all essentially FD clones. Which the game does not need more of.

I applaud your amazing efforts to homogenize the game, and make it even easier for characters who do well on FD.

I've corrected my error. Sorry bout that. 'Tis no longer "neutral" stages... I renamed them for what they are: "Flat"!

Still has all the same issues as before. I applaud your willingness and ability to work on stages and your ingenuity on the JJ fix (it's now a solid neutral, AFAICT), but jesus **** we do not need more FD clones. For real.

No offense but it is titled FLAT STAGE LOVERS. If you don't like FD clones, then that's fine. These stages just aren't for you in that case.

may I ask what is wrong with the platform on Yoshi's island? I understand that some people may not like the platforms that pop up, but the middle one..?

looking forward to seeing someone make a tilting castle siege III

Nothin' much is wrong with YI's middle platform. Heard a lot of complaints about it though from friends. Guess it's too big or just distracting.

btw I think I could make Castle Siege 3 tilt. Maybe later I'll add it on.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but is there anywhere else to download the Deadlands stage you have on here? I would like to use it on Project: M, but the links posted were directed to Megaupload, which I guess doesn't work anymore...Is there another place where this stage can be downloaded from?

Deadlands wouldn't even work, as Project M replaces Luigi's Mansion with Dracula's Castle.
