not new, but still cool as it isn't used by alot of ppl. It can also be seen in dashizwiz's new combo vid (by a fox, not him). and that new instructional video by james sparrow i just noticed.

It just doesn't seem useful at call when you can just wavedash off the edge and hang on then do Firebird stalls.

it seems to have a few limited uses where time just might be that tight for it. still flashy and cool though :-D

To wavedash of the edge requires u to already be facing the opposite direction. You can do a shine turn around on the level and then reverse waveshine, but this is much easier. This is probably for long distance edgeguards and not when you have the time to position your self.

Ha, pretty cool. Something to do if you're opponent is definitely not going to make it back onto the stage while you wait.

nice, but falcos shine makes your opponent go upwards, so you are setting yourself up for a spike off the edge..

flashiness ftw. people do unnecessary edgeguarding processes all the time, so i'm all for it rokimomi. adding unique things to your game is always good ;D

but remember, flashiness is flashiness xD

i think this would work better with fox because you can get really lucky and shine spike him then fire stall him :)

Another flashy way to edge hog is to use his upB to grab it from the middle of the stage. If you fall off the stage his up B close enough you can flick the analog stick to the direction the edge is at and grab it. FF whilst on the ground and get far enough to where you barely fall off the edge from doing it, then just turn the analog stick the opposite way you pointed it to go so it'll grab the edge.

definitely flashy... mmm good to use if your opponent is far away... but i prefer shine -> turn -> waveshine -> edgehog if your opponent is anywhere near the edge just to avoid random stage spikes ><

although as ppl said, this is not new. if you want flashy, master side + B stall hehe.

And then people found out a reverse fastfalled shorthoplaser to edgehog is still a lot faster than everything else.

Reverse SHL to edgehog is the quickest way of grabbing the ledge when running towards the edge.

Reverse waveshine is the fastest when you're really close to the edge.
