Hello fellow samus' KC here had my first tourny yesterday.I wanted to prove how good samus can truly be.Everyone there used top and high tiers.I ended up taking 4th outta 34 got knocked out by a g&w who I later beat then lost to the ic/DDD main who won the tourny.Think I did pretty good for my first offline showing.I did it for SAMUS! xD My bro a crazy sonic main took 3rd lol.The tourny results should be in the tourny results boards under test your might 3 (MidWest).

Good job, MI were just here in canada (Bowyer, NOJ and Lain). Theyre good. Although they pretty much got *****. I HIGHLY suggest picking up a secondary for ICs though; lke ROB.

Rob/Snake is ICs worst matchup. Im guessing youre inexperienced in the matchup. But if you really wanna go samus, i can give you some tips. I play regularly play with a very good ICs; Ambrose. Better than Lain.

IC's can infinite you anywhere.
But the lava can save you from CG spikes.
And Brinstar is a pretty good ROB stage if you get used to the stage itself.

When I brawled with BentLeeT, I chose Norfair, but I was Donkey Kong at the time. I beat him that match, and the second match on Yoshi's Island with Donkey Kong. I can't seem to beat him with Samus.
KingChaos, when I told BentLeeT that my secondary was Pit, he told me that he would have trouble if I were to use Pit. I haven't used Pit, and I don't know what would be the problem, but if you're going to be using a secondary to beat the Ice Climbers, you might want to check out Pit as well.

Samus is possibly the easiest bthrow infinite to do out of the entire cast. That's probably why.
DK is an issue to grab because of his tilts, his smashes KO at low %'s, and he sepereates the IC's well. Hell, he can even use a grounded up-B to seperate us.
I hate wifi being down.

Well, I don't know if BentLeeT was giving me a chance sometimes to not be chain-grabbed infinitely or if I was just doing very well at spacing. I took the whole, "Don't get grabbed" to heart. It's some good practice. In our first match, once he grabbed me, he took me to the right side of Smashville and hit me downward. I was down to one stock, and he had three left. After that match, he said that my Samus was a beast. In that same match, I got him down to his last stock. Good stuff, though I have only won once against his Ice Climbers with Samus.
Yeah. But, even though Donkey Kong can spin with his Up+B while on the ground, it's really a pain when the Ice Climbers spin at you, because it hits you upward. I never understood the physics of the Smash world.
Seriously. I saw KingChaos on, but I'm not sure if it was his brother or him. I wanted to brawl with one of them. They're quite skilled, and Shugo helped me with my esteem after I had lost against Durango's Ike so many times. I felt like I wasn't good enough, and when I brawled with Shugo, I'd always get him down to one stock. I didn't win any of the matches, but I felt good after, simply because I could keep up with him.Havokk said:

"Don't get Grabbed" is actually possible for a character like Samus. Playing a flawless spacing game, you shouldn't get grabbed. Or if you do, it'll only be 1-2 times a match by the IC's.
People tell people "Don't get grabbed" for advice against the IC's grab. And truly, because of their pathetic grab range, unless you got desynched blizzer/squall/ice blocks into a grab, its your fault you got grabbed.
It's actually good advice when you think about it.
The IC's will only hit you up when they are Synched, as to why, I don't know... Smash makes no sense.
But luckily, DK does pretty good in the air, so you're not completely hopeless.
Don't know who Durango is :/ he sounds like a beastly Ike if he can beat your Samus. (sorry about the *****ing over ledge camping. I seriously hate that ****, not because of the brickwall, but because I play friendlies for fun, not to have to think about a way around something)
I saw KC on as well, tried to join, and got DC'd.

Durango is a member of All is Brawl. I blame the lag. The connection where I am and where he is was horrible. And he's not the first person from Georgia whom I brawled with online. If the connection was like that of IsmaR's or Xyro's, I would've enjoyed it more. In the end, I asked myself on how Ike could be a spammy character. Jab, jab, jab.
