When you get your brawl copy and get home to play it

these are mine some of them are just for fun but the ones with * are for real

1-check that is not a fake or demo version ;)
2-call work and state that i'm homesick
3-Go to Stage Builder*
4-Pass all that time trying to recreate any Stage from other Game*
5-then enjoy the intro movie*

now for the next day is a whole diferent story :chuckle:

now please remember my name, because the next thing you know the first downloable stage from the Wifi option could be mines

Play through Subspace Emissary, Classic Mode, whatever. Unlock every character and stage, hopefully.

Stuff like that.

Wow really XD

I will probably watch the intro movie first.

Then hit multiplayer and try out a few characters I use now, and get the general feel of the new physics engine. Once then I will hit up single player modes and start unlocking characters.

I'll try to save stage builder for a while, at least once I get stuff unlocked.

As soon as I get the game after school, I'll turn it on and go through every menu in the game, gazing at the glory of all the different game modes given to us.
After being filled with the joy that I own the best Nintendo game of all time, I'll go to VS. Mode and play a few rounds with my siblings. Then we'll all take turns playing a quick round of classic (Me first), and play Co-op mode on 1P afterwards. When that gets tiring, I'll go to the stage builder and make some of my masterpieces, like Pinbrawl and Fort Dedede, and then when I'm done with that...
*deep breath*
I'll do other stuff on Brawl.
^^
The End.

Oh yes. And the next day I'll fake sick like I've never faked sick before.
Unless my dad's home, 'cause then he'll make sure I don't play video games and that would ruin the point.

First: Play normal mode with any new character I have interest in, just to get a feel.
Second: If Midna is a character, do whatever it takes to unlock her.
Third: Play through Subspace Emissary.
Fourth: Unlock all the other characters.

Watch the intro movie.

Go to classic mode and pick either Snake or Sonic, probably flip a coin on that. Select easy mode so I can just mess around. Get a feel for the game and feel the difference between it and melee.

Start unlocking characters, stages, trophys, CD's and so on.

When I reach the point where I can't figure out how to unlock the last few things, check Smashboards.com.

first i would like to say that february 10th is a sunday- that means go to walmart (or any store thats open 24/7, which for me is walmart.. sadly) and demand for it at midnight (even though they're still unpacking new shipments). then try to unlock everything on one cup-o-coffee and before dawn...
and since its a sunday, rocketspark, you do not have to wait through school.

i will watch the intro,
gaze at the "choose your character" screen,
record "firsts" (i.e. first character played, first character played when random, first stage, etc.)
listen to the announcer say all the characters names..

the list goes on and on....

I'm gonna:

Camp outside of Best Buy on Saturday even though I reserved it
Get the game and go home
Play it FORVER, missing school the next day because of "depression" (my friend was excused from absence because of depression somehow. Of course, my depression will be because of I had to sleep after playing Brawl. =P)

In detail on the forever:

Watch the intro twice
Play vs. Mode with everyone on all stages to get used to it
Play classic mode with Mario
Play SSE with my little bro

After the "sickness":

Play classic mode with every stater character. Until 4:00 PM.

Over there
1. I'll get the game and while I'm driving home I'll read the instructions, knowing full well that I already know them all.
2. Put the game in my Wii and watch the intro that you get sometimes when looking at the Disc Channel when there is a Wii game in.
3. I try to watch the intro, but chances are I'll accidentally skip over it.
4. Try every character, item, level in Vs. to get a feel for the game.
5. Start Subspace.
6. Breathe.
7. Pee.
8. Go to the hospital and make out with sick people to try to get sick before school.
9. Sleep
10. Either go to school if I'm not sick or play the game until everything has been unlocked.

1) After buying the game... make sure it is in the case.
2) Read through the game manual (it's like a ritual of mine, to read those).
3) Watch the intro movie about 6 times.
*4) Play classic mode on medium difficulty with Samus Aran.
**5) Play multiplayer mode.
6) Play and complete the Subspace Emissary.

*If friend(s) are with me... omit 4, and go 5
**If friend(s) aren't with me... swap 5 with 6

The SSE seems like a great way to get the feel of many characters. But I might beat Classic with Kirby first, just to relish in his buffs.

Test out movement changes. Then dash through to unlock all the characters and stages.
