So everyoe knows when you UP-B with falco you can't really move forwad, making it really easy to edge hog him when he's under the stage. I noticed the problem is that when you UP B for some stupid reason he floats slightly backwards at top of the UP B. So i thought to myself, can't i Just use this to my advantage?

Is it possible to UP b reverse (facing away from the stage, but up b straight up) and use that whole backwards glide thing he does to get back on the stage? The problem is I can't test it because I keep grabbing teh ledge when I try it(there isn't a person there to hold the ledge since i dont have anyone to test it with me right now) Does anyone know if this will work? It could mean a huge deal to be able to get back on the stage from under it by doing this.

...totally off-topic but Edreese is Falco your secondary?

Also could you describe your scenario better? I'm really confused as to what you're trying to say..

It should be noted that despite the common misconception, Falco's Up B is called Firebird, not Firefox for obvious reasons (he's a bird and not a Fox). While similar, their recoveries aren't the same move and they're different animals.

It's like how Sheik Vanishes while Zelda uses Faroe's Wind.

so are you trying to say that you want to use falco's up-b backwards momemtum to get back on the edge so that he can have a better chance to make it back to the edge of the stage.

doubt that will happen...

I've tested it on Training mode and there's no difference between a backwards-facing Fire Bird than a normal Fire Bird. You don't get any extra DI from using Fire Bird while facing the opposite way.

Well, it might work, but you wouldn't normally be facing away from the stage while recovering. Maybe you could wall jump, then up-B on certain stages.

Yeah. Atm the curvefirebox is the "technique" to do to overcome the dodgy-ness of Falco's vertical recovery special.
