Well, now that this is finally out, who's plaiyng it? I'm up to Chapter 11, finding it hard to stay on the campaign, online multiplayer is soooooo addicting. If anyone wants to play, please shout out. FC is 4038-9754-0118

For pedantics, I know there already is a FEDS thread, but its from over a year ago and I didn't feel like necroing.

Wait, in which region is it out? I didn't think it was going to be out until next year, at least not in America.

I don't have it yet (obviously, if I didn't think it's out yet). Even if it's out in one region or another, I'll wait until it comes out in my region to get it, rather than importing.

It was released in the UK on the 5th.

If I may say so, it's definitely worth the import, especially since the DS practically eggs you on with its lack of region protection.

Doooooooo it. :3

Lol. This game is horrible. It's just the same rehashed crap over and over and "Intelligent" Systems didn't even do anything new.

Oh! Class Swapping?! What an amazing useless feature!

Well, it is a remake, so I didn't expect Nintendo to do anything big with this.

So here's a question for those who got the localized version, did they tweak the difficulty?

I'm looking forward to this game.

AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A HORRIBLE FIRE EMBLEM GAME (not even the Sacred Stones)!

Unfortunately, I heard the plot was bad (not as bad as FE:SS)... but thats understandable, seeing as rescue the princess from the castle plots weren't considered terribly cliche when this game was made.

I didn't like Fire Emblem Gaiden... I think a lot of FE fans that had played it didn't like it.
Actually, if you spend some time on Serenes Forest, you would know that many Fire Emblem players deny the existance of a bad Fire Emblem game.

Sacred Stones gets a lot less respect than Gaiden.

If you enjoyed Paper Mario 's plot then you should enjoy the Sacred Stones plot because they're ultimately the same plot.

And FE8 wasn't bad per se. It just didn't live up the series first class standards

This is a fair statement.

I've never actually played Paper Mario.... thought about it, but I've never been into the Mario series... at all.

FE8 wasn't bad by game standards, but by the standards of the series, it was a failure. That is why fans of the series will often criticize it. If you've never played a Fire Emblem game, then yes it will probably be fun for a run through or two, but for a veteran player, it will seem shallow and incredibly easy.

Fortunately, they have blessed the Wii with Radiant Dawn, my favorite game. :)
