I've never had a real difficult time with the ledge since sometime Sonic's got just about the best recovery(am I right?). I have been died from messing around under there before. I have no problem getting back up there with Sonic, Lucario, ZSS, Pit, or Wario. Snake's the only one I have problems with every now and then getting back up there.
