Hooray! The fifth installment of the ESTICLE series is finally announced.

I'm excited to see an even bigger outcome than the last one!
(Pictures from IVESTICLE: http://digitalmayhemlc.com/modules.php?name=gallery2&g2_itemId=1028)

Information

Will be held at the new location of Digital Mayhem (they moved from the Meriden Mall):

892 North Colony Rd.
Wallingford, CT

1v1: $15/person
2v2: $20/team ($10/person)

DM is taking 30% of the pot to cover hosting. First gets 40%, 2nd 20% and 3rd 10%, for both singles/doubles, respectively.

Registration 11 am - Noon. Doubles will be run first, followed by a food break, followed by the singles tournament.

The store has 14 setups atleast, so we'll be needing atleast 12 people to bring gamecubes!

The store will be open from 11 am until 11 am (24 hours!) So after the tournament people are welcome to stay for a big smashfest.

First post.

For some reason, whenever I try to wall-bomb to recover I always seem to mess up and can never get up, I just stay in the same spot. People are always like "Hey quit stalling!" but I just can't wall-bomb well :( then the timer runs out and I win...

When I first saw this thread, I was just like, "What's this gay sissy ****?"

But then I thought, if I just go to a tourney in Connecticut four or five times per year, I'll be the greatest Smash player in the world!

So I'm going.

Cort you are too well...

Because Pokefloats isn't on the banned stage list. I assume you're just taking this in steps and Pokefloats will appear on the random list at VIesticle?

Actually, it's a given that pokefloats is banned, which is why we don't need to put it in the list.

lmao @ Ken owning Brookman's spam (post #17)

Anyway, I hope to see a larger turnout than IVESTICLE. IVESTICLE had something like 70 something people, which was pretty huge. And it was International.

The store is open for 24 hours. If people just comply and not play friendlies while the tournament is going in, it will end A LOT faster than if people give the guys running it a hard time with friendlies. Then you can play all the friendlies you want after the tournament is over.

It sounds like such a great idea, but it's going to be hard to get people to listen unless some kind of punishment is issued to those playing friendlies when they shouldn't be...
