Am I the only one here who grew up with the SNES and rarely played the NES?

The only one I can think of is Kirby's Adventure.

I started playing the NES at age two and was stuck with it until I had enough money to buy a PSX (I think I was 8 yrs old). I had plenty of time to enjoy games like Bionic Commando, Punchout, Mario 1,2,3, Megaman 1-5, Rygar, and Contra.

My favorite NES games (awsome system, only losers hate it!) in order are
Legend of Zelda
Zelda II (hardest game ever, awsome despite! worst LOZ games=CD-I Phillips games!)
Super Mario Bros. 3
Metroid
Punchout!!!
Megaman
Megaman 3
Super Maro Bros
Megaman 4
Super Mario Bros 2
Megaman 6
Kirby's Adventure
Megaman 5
Megaman 2 (hard, but not on a Zelda II style or extreme!)
Duck Hunt (what isn't shooting annoying ducks, lol? Hope it on Wii console, with a gun)
Donkey Kong
DK Jr.
Baseball
Wario's Woods
Pinball
Clu-Clu Land
Clu-Clu Land D
Tennis
Tetris
I haven't played Castlevania or Final Fantasy, but I hope it downloadable via Wii Virtual Console, since my NES doesn't work anymore. Thank you Animal Crossing + Action Replay cheats to get special NES games, and LOZ Collcetor's Edition. I bet there are a ton more I never played, and I hope to play Kisd Icarus and download it via Wii Virtual Console!

You know, it's funny, I've heard from a lot of people that it's one of the worst, or at least that they didn't like it, probably because it's so different from other Mario games.
It's also cuz they have no soul. It's no Mario 3, but it's a darn good game.

Best NES was LOZ! That game owned like no other! Shoot the 1st gameplay takes what, 60 hours, the 2nd takes like 40! It took me longer to beat and get everything in that game than Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. It was hard as hell, fun and enjoyable, and the bosses, ranged from easy to the hardest of the hard. Despite this, Zelda II=hardest video game ever. I almost beat that game, it's friggen crazy! If you beat that game without any cheats, you legally must be able to beat any other video game on any diffucultly (that isn't a glitch mess).

Mario Bros owned, too but Super Mario Bros. good times! SMB was good, 2 was better, and 3 was simply kick but. My dad and grandfather use to bet who could get further in SMB 3, lol and they never reached world 7. When I got to World 8, they laughed, especially since I was 3! I recently beat the GBA version of SMB 2 & 3, and that was no easy task! I also finally beat SMB 1 (no GBA version, the NES one), and that was almost as hard as SMB 2 & 3, but still hard as hell!

Donkey Kong owned too, and DK Jr. (DK 2) was better. I dunno why, but DK 3 was my fav, it sorta felt like a shooter. It was awsome as heck! Those games own=don't disagree! They own! More good times, ahh I love good times!

For any fans of classic NES games who don't have a NES, I recommend getting Animal Crossing for the GC, and use Action Replay or Gameshark to get all the NES games you can get! There must be at least 20 NES games, including LOZ, DK 1-3, Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros, Ice Climbers, Clu-Clu Land 1 and 2, Wario's Woods, Punchout!!, Tennis, Baseball, Soccer, Golf, Ballon Fight!, Dk Jr. Math (AHH educational), Excitebike!, etc.

Duck Hunt owned too, and I love Ice Climbers! Heck, Excitebike owns, and Paperboy makes me feel bad for Paperboys (ahh dogs, cars, jumps, and crazy people!). Simply put, LOZ owns, and if you wnat to paly one of the games that is a root of modern day RPG's, Final Fantasy or Zelda II is the way to go! NES owns, you hate on it, you're obviously not a fan of video games! PERIOD!

OMG!!! I just remembered.
Crash and the Boys has to be my all-time favorite NES game...ever.
Oh, and I also liked River City Ransom. That game was too fun. I think they were both developed by the same company.
Oh, and Mario 3. One of my favorite mario's to this day.

Balloon Fight is my favorite.
Also, Nuts and Milk. Binary Land is good too...

Really, I'm being serious. Those are good games. And they are real.
I know they have stupid names!
