Wow, what a day. 2 updates and now some scans from Famatsu magazine have surfaced with some new screens of Peach, the Franklin Badge, Pokemon Trainer and Wario posibly shielding. Click more to see the pictures, but be warned, they are big.

but what does peach taking off here crown mean?

It appears that Squirtle attacks by swiping at foes, Ivysaur uses leaves much like fists, and Charizard knows Earthquake.

Well sneaky remember that’s only one attack per poke. That could be earthquake Charizard is using but I don’t believe it is. Still none the less, Sakurai probably has this thing for wanting to make Charizard beyond awesomely cool. Still squirtle owns.

Peach taking off her crown is probably just making her Fair make sense. It’s too powerful for a little princess. All she does is slap you and you go flying. The crown is like adding pointy golden knuckles to the attack.

pointy things poke they don’t smash. But I get what you’re saying Underdog. It’s good that the staff’s paying attention to the little things though wouldn’t it make since to just weaken her fair?

Weaken Peach? Have you gone mad? Not that I use her, but she’s slow and light already. And a huge target. We don’t need another Zelda.

Why is it only one attack per Pokemon? That doesn’t sound right at all.

I didn’t say weaken peach, just some of her arials. If their going to give her so much control while she’s in the air something needs to be even out. She’s got mad control and crazy hit boxes. I believe that more than makes up for her defensive prowness. Zelda’s got squat (unless you count sheik which really isn’t zelda at all)

No sneaky, they only showed one attack per pokemon. That doesn’t mean that’s the only move that poke can do.

It wouldn’t surprise me much if Charizard was using Earthquake, as that move could be taught to one by use of TM.

I dont thnik that Wario shileding, if you see he has the Mother badge on, so it refelcts any projectiles, so thats safe to assume that its still not a sign of shielding. Now peach taking her crown off to wack some1 with it!?!?!?!Thats Pimpin’ lol

who said it was a sign of shielding hefaustos. You can clearly tell he has the item by the big item that covers a big portion of the pic.

Err about Peach and her crown–she could always do that in Melee. Just jump in the air and side + A. If you pause it–you can see that she takes off her crown to hit.

Yeah, Diddy! My number one character to be in Brawl. This is a little late, but I couldn’t load this website yesterday.

K.K.’s music is awesome. Here’s my list of favorites:

I hope they make a CD for this game!

Way off topic, but I’ve been thinking about this.

There was a little detail in the first Smash that they took out of Melee, that I think they should bring back for Brawl.

Remember when (right before you started a match) each character would have an unique entrance animation. (Mario pops out of a pipe, Kirby flies in on his Star, Pikachu comes out of his Pokeball)

I just thought it would be cool to have that back in Brawl.

I also want to clear up some things in the comments of the Diddy post. Diddy never had the Rare sign… That was Dixie. Diddy’s was always Nintendo.

Diddy has also had teeth for a long time. This isn’t new fore Brawl.

Just wanted to clear that up…

Yes, they should put that back in Brawl Edward!… Wait… They took it out of Melee? Oh. I didn’t know that.

But yeah, that did add a lot of flavor to the fight.

Yeah, I thought it was stupid that they took the entrances out, but I think it has something to do with the whole trophies-brought-to-life motif that was implied in Melee and is being explored further in Brawl. I don’t expect the entrances to come back.

PT is gonna kill.
I wanna see some actual unedited gameplay pics so we can see the percentages with the characters name and stuff and so I can see how stamina works for PT
