Not to knock the FGC, but sometimes it amazes what they take for granted when Melee is filled with technical uncertainties to adapt to.

So from what I could make out they are attempting to enlist game developers to match donations and/or tweet about the game. EA, Jagex Rocksteady, Sega, Yugio were mentioned in the comments by apparently the person in contact. Also mobafire.com is going to post(or tweet) something for them. Don't quote me on any of this, I could always be mistaken, but we'll know soon enough.


Not sure how I feel about going to outside parties. On one hand it's more money against breast cancer, on the other introducing irrelevant 3rd parties like this is completely out of touch with the spirit of this competition.

Let the Skull Girls earn this on its own terms. This sort of manipulation is disrespectful to the fighting community at large.

Trihex does play melee, but the SG community is getting help from people who aren't involved in the community at all. Some of them (littlestkuriboh) didn't even know there was a 'competiton' between games. It's basically the VAs calling out favors from people who aren't even aware of what's at stake for evo that's pissing us off imo

Although, if we were to reach out to screw attack we'd be doing the same thing
