Falco's laser goes through Luigi??? (vid)

Alright so I was playing against SwastikaPyle the other day, and he had just picked up Falco. We were messing around on Final Destination and he shot a laser, but for some reason it went right through Luigi as I began the fireball animation. Luckily I had infinite replays on and could save the vid to upload. I assure you there was no stupid invincibility from anything else, and I could show you the whole match if you really wanted. No items, nothing.

I thought I would ask the Falco boards because you guys are quite frankly way more active than us over on the Luigi side

I don't know exactly what happened, but maybe Luigi ducked under the laser when he threw the fireball? I didn't know he could do that... Or maybe it is invincibility frames.

looks more like the fireball animation causes his hurtbox to shift downward causing the laser to pass over it.

yeah, its like when falco uses upB (his salto) his hitbox also changes. if you use fireball i guess the hitbox changes too.

I don't know, that's pretty weird, but at the same time awesome. Falco has another glitch like that at New Pork City. If you shoot at the bottom of the stage his laser will stick to one of the platforms. There must have been some kind of glitches with his blaster, I don't know.
