falcon throw game on sheik

which throw ought i to use?

it seems the up throw works best for combos in the air..but i'm not sure what damages...

is the dthrow good for anything? can i techchase sheik from any throw? like at low damages it seems i end up techchasing sheik players a lot...but i'm worried they might be able to get out and just aren't trying..so i thought i'd ask...

well your right with up throw to combo
simple up throw combos work like up throw to Knee to taunt
or up throw to U air to whatever to knee to taunt
really the way the sheik DIs is what you can combo on her

Down throw is good cause if you can Dash dance really well you can tech chase her to really any precent
but you have to be good at reaction and Mind games

Reaction-Mindgames-Up throw-U air-Down smash-Nair-Knee-Taunt

at higher damage can sheik jump out of the downthrow? i'm wondering if i shouldn't use it then..

and at lower damage will the upthrow not toss them high enough to combo with?

well of course at a higher percent she can jump out of Down throw
But it should get a Higher percenton her

and if she is at a high enough percent that you can't combo her
she should probley be dead

what im saying is
Down throw is just racking damage
depending on how well you can Tech chase is how much you can get
and up throw is combo
if she is to high to combo
then she should be kneed and Die

Show me the Shiek player that gets kneed out of nowhere, and I will show you the falcon player that beats her by spamming Falcon Kick!

I'mma mess around with this because Sheik is something I need combo practice against, and I'll post results.

Uthrow nair knee around 40 with no DI
Silly stuff like Dthrow off the edge and knee 20-40% if they don't jump (if they do just dsmash)
Uthrow SHFFL uair knee if they start DIing your Uthrow, that's something to get good at
Dthrow chaingrabs can work as low as 15% if they don't DI, probably up through around 30 or so
Uthrow to knee at 90 if I'm not mistaken
Dthrow knee around 120 w/o DI (mindgamez), much earlier if they DI toward you and go up.

And the best combo I pulled was!!! Near the edge, Uthrow, up-angled Ftilt, knee off side. Not really a combo but it's close enough

i assume the "uthrow SHFFL uair knee if they start DIing your Uthrow, that's something to get good at" refers to di away from you...or can you do this if they di towards you as well?

if not what can i do if they di towards me at various percents...tahnks for the other answers as well everyone...

Dthrow can chain at 0%. Something I do is for the first throw dthrow immediately so they DI bad regrab and then tech chase. Better to get that second sure fire grab instead of leaving it to chance by tech chasing.

why not just downthrow to techchase? upthrow they will be able to get out of sooner by jumping out

eh? sheik is one of the easiest characters to combo. i play a ton against aesis.

dthrow chaingrab starts at 0 percent. you can techchase if they DI away.

uthrow starting alittle above 20% to nair. once you nair you can nair nair nair knee whatever.
(if youre a sheik you should DI down and away)

you can do basically anything. nair nair uair uair knee

so audreyh..so on sheik like with marth should i just go for nair comboes if they don't di dthrow at zero percent and on? (doesn't seem to work...falls too fast i guess nvm)

and also..i seem to have problems when they di behind me from the upthrow....i hit them with an upair or bair i think (sorry just got to play a sheik again today finally..) and it seems that when he di's behind me i can only get off the one aerial..

which is annoying..but perhaps i shouldn't be too greedy..it's just it seems that at least when they are diing in front of me there is a decent chance of juggling to knee..but when they di behind i hit with an aerial and land and have to turn around and they always seem to be out by then


so what are my options when sheik di's behind me from the upthrow. at 30% it looks like i can just turn around and regrab..not sure if they can jump out..it's close..by 40% or so i bet they can..but i'm guessing i can bair..and at 50% upair? and i can't expect to combo out of any of those probably

at 44 or something in this match darkrain uses a retreating nair to start a combo on a sheik behind him...when can i start doing this.. and when should i switch to an upair? or should i ever...maybe just full jump retreating nair at high damage?
