DI up and in, ASDI in if you can, and falcon kick helps recovery (gives you your jump back)

Learn to tech the ledge, and overshooting the ledge by a lot (if possible) is good to get back on the stage

Falcon is notorious for his moves "bad" recovery, because it's so easily edgeguarded. The obvious answer is DON'T GET knocked offstage HIT

Falcon's recovery vs Marth seems impossible until your DI gets better. With bad DI you will often end up below the stage when recovering, and you can't get back unless Marth screws up. If you are recovering from above the stage, Marth has to guess where you're going to go, and if you go far into the stage anything short of a tipper fsmash won't send you completely off.

If you are recovering from below the stage hugging the edge, though, and Marth uses exclusively fsmash to edgeguard, you can pretty much tech that every time.

If you can, try to recover as high and as far in on the stage as possible against marth. Patient marth's will still get ya, but even if you get hit you'll still have a better chance at recovery than getting hit by the ledge.

So pretty much just elaborating what DNS said.

you can't do much more than DI well, ledge tech and perfect recovery. try to make him mis-time his smash by falcon diving before your second jump finishes. other than that, just accept your death if you get hit fair enough off the ledge and come back and knee this **** out of him.

respawn, grab him, uthrow knee, even game
this^

EDIT: remember when you are close enough to dodge onto the stage instead of falcon dive

up-b as high as u can, never down-b or a single fsmash kills you

Most likely this. You can adjust the falling a bit to avoid fatal blows. Respond to the hit you get after you land. DI depending on the attack. If very high %, try DI down and tech.

if your close enough air dodge past him, the worst thing that can happen is you get grabbed but marths grabs sucks

yup . what the guy above said. Dont be reckless and ALWAYS use falcon kick just so u arrive faster to the stage. If u can, its best to just double jump to the stage
