Falco vs. Samus specific question

So I play against a Samus main all the time and he always complains that, on my approaches it's always Laser-Laser-Fsmash and he says there's no way that him eating a laser prevents it.

If I space it wrong though I eat a Dsmash or an Up+B OOS, but if I space it right, and I often do... does Samus have any other options?

If he shields I can punish easy because Samus is slow.

If he powershields, oh well, I can either WD back and keep lasering or go in and throw in some shines.

But generally is lasers vs. Samus just pretty much a 100% guaranteed approach or is there something we're both missing?

Your friend needs to learn how to handle lasers, and you need to stop letting his johns get to you and laser him until he learns to beat it.

wd back out of shield. eating lasers doesnt matter if hes hitting you with something like ftilt every like 6 lasers or so especially with someone like samus who doesn't get punished particularly hard.

samus wd out of shield is amazing or he can powershield to wd dsmash or something. samus is a poking character so your friend just has to make the most of opportunities unlike fox who can just like jump and create **** from scratch.

Yah. Reason I ask is because while it's nice to play like that against a Samus, it doesn't prepare me for other Samuses.

I'll have to teach him, WD OOS is such a **** option.
